So far, I’ve been quite impressed with the texture and lack of scent of this product. It doesn’t bother me and it isn’t greasy and gross. I haven’t been in an area that is too buggy yet, so I can’t quite speak to effectiveness yet, but I do look forward to using this product later in the summer.

I don't think the scent is too much, being that it's a bug repellent spray. I'll be using this for me and my family during the spring and summer seasons. Worked really well as we were outside hiking and did not get any mosquito bites or anything flying and bothering us. It did not stay close and was easy to rinse off in the shower. The bottle is small but should last a good amount of time given that you don’t need to spray that much. Easier to throw in your purse or keep in the car for on the go.
