I was really looking forward to this taco kit, but the soft flour tortillas had an overpowering chemical smell that didn’t go away even after cooking. The taste was just as bad—strong and unnatural. Unfortunately, this completely ruined the meal. I won’t be purchasing this again.

I'm so disappointed with this kit. The taco shells are so small,tasteless & the soft ones are small also. My husband usually has 2, he had 4 tonight. Thank goodness my granddaughter likes the soft ones, as she had 4 also. Me, I had it on a piece of bread. The taco seasoning just doesn't have the flavour of old. Not happy at all.

The reviews are true, the hard shells are so very small, sized for a child and you can barely fit anything in them.

I usually buy Ortego taco products and now I know why! The 11.4 Old El Paso Dinner kit I opened had very small hard taco shells. You can barely get any meat in them. When I look at the box, I have no way of knowing if the box has normal sized shells or small ones. The box should clearly indicate that they are MINI taco shells. You make so many different kits, so is it possible can you tell me which kits have normal sized shells? I am planning to return four unopened boxes I have to the grocery store.

hard shell were all broken, couldn't even put them together to make one. This is not the first time. Very disappointed. We usually have the taco dinner kit soft and hard shell 3 times a month.

Horrible so processed the corn shells are way tiny then normal size and the flour shells are extra soft and doughy. They hated this kit and combo the taste was awful.

We got this kit two weeks ago and loved it. Especially how soft and squishy the soft tortillas were. We got it again this week; not expired, but the crunchy tacos were so stale. Like grossly stale when taking a bite. So not sure what the deal is.

Hard shells are tiny, the opening is so small it's impossible to get any quantity of meat, cheese, etc. in them. Attempts to open them bigger only results in them breaking in half. Wasted half the box of ingredients, only able to make the soft tacos. Need a serious re-design on the hard shells. Perhaps use the standing taco shells?

Everytime I purchase a taco kit no matter where I get it from the hard shells are stale. Just bought one 2 days ago went to make tacos tonight and the shells are hard this is getting crazy!

We periodically purchase Old El Paso products. Usually, we like the crunchy standup tacos but this time I purchased the taco dinner kit. A combination of hard and soft tacos. Unfortunately, the six hard tacos were stale. The soft tacos were fine.

We have been ordering the "wide" stuff and stand tacos for years and I can honestly say I have never left a review before but this bugged me so much that I had to speak up. OldElPaso shells are very good and when the wide and the super stuffer shells came out I was incredibly excited but for years it has been false advertising. The shells are ALWAYS closed so much that t]its nearly impossible to get meat inside the shell without it breaking. The mouths of the shell are never wide enough and definitely not as seen on the box of the advertised pictures. We have tacos reguarly for dinner and although you have a great recipe its very frustarting that product does not match the description I just really wish you would put more effort into wideing your tacos shells. Please and thank you from a loyal fan.
