If I was a character in the show, The Summer I Turned Pretty, I would definitely use this product because of its fruity and aquatic scent. So I took a look at the area and sure enough, the skin was inflamed and slightly swollen. He immediately had to stop using it and the redness and irritation went away overnight. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this deodorant and believe the gel like texture was not a match for his skin type. This product has a clean but mild scent. It paired well with the body wash. It lasted all day & did a good job even during my 30 minute elliptical exercise. I would definitely recommend this & consider this to be unisex. I will be passing this on to my son who is a big Old Spice fan.
