I don't know what it was, but I bought it after doing some research and it said it was a good product, but the first time I used it, it burned my skin. I kept using it hoping it would go away and was something else and then it turned to sores and literally eroded my skin. I now have painful sores on my skin and even my family grimace at. Please do not buy.i would also like to specify i am not allergic to anything and have never had this sort of reaction before.

the fiji deodorant stick gave me HORRIBLE scabs that lasted a week after i stopped usage. not rashes- scabs. after doing research im pretty sure they were chemical burns. hurt so bad i couldn’t lift my arms and was CONSTANTLY in pain.

This deodorant causes severe chemical burns!! If you want painful, red, welted burns under your armpits then this the deodorant for you. Hey Old Spice, are you going to pay for my doctor visit and prescription? Old Spice has been aware of these reports dating way back to 2006. They claim it’s a rare adverse reaction to alcohol and insist it’s completely safe, however the hundreds and hundreds of us who have this burn we know that’s not the case because no other deodorants cause us to have this reaction. This product should be taken off the market immediately.

This was my go to product for a long time. However, due to the recent changes now my arm pits are irritated and it leaves a white residue on most clothes. So a trip to the doctor and a prescription medication to calm the irritation.

I used to wear the Fiji for years it was my favorite and best antiperspirant deodorant on the planet but now it doesn’t seem to last very long as far as the lady killer smell goes it might last 3/4 of the day but doesn’t last for days it seems like it used to . It does last a full day in the body Oder prevention area on a average day without any excessive sweating.

I applied the deodorant in the morning at like 9 am and went to workout for a couple hours and I wanted to test and see how well one application would hold up and Boy Oh Boy!!!!!! did it hold up well. With most deodorant I've tried in the past I've always had to re apply the deodorant at the gym but with this Old Spice Fiji deodorant I applied it once and right before bed at like 8 pm I got into the shower and I still smelled the deodorant also want to add that I smelled no odor whatsoever which is amazing for only being applied once. If your looking for a deodorant that smells great and helps with odor protection and also only has to be applied once throughout the whole day this is the deodorant for you. You wont regret trying this deodorant. 10/10 Highly Recommend!!!

He didn't experience any B.O. at the end of the day. The deodorant has a creamy texture that goes on smoothly. It didn't leave any white marks on his shirt. He said he didn't experience any irritation from the aluminum in it. You can smell the palm trees when you take the top off, which smells green and refreshing. There's a hint of coconut that gives the deodorant a tropical vibe that makes it smell sweet. We both really liked the scent. I love the picture on the bottle, which has beach vibes that match the scent perfectly. The bottle is the perfect size to throw in your gym bag. The lid stays tight, so you don't have to worry about getting deodorant on your gym clothes. My fiancé said he would definitely buy this to use in his daily routine.

I do like the scent but unfortunately my husband said it did irritate his nose so he took away one star. Regarding the application, it does apply cleanly without streaks and does last throughout the day. I noticed that when applying there are no indications of allergic reactions i.e. rash or swelling which is a bonus. Maybe if the scent was not as potent he would like it. I still recommend this product.
