What is it with you guys changing old spice captain ? And now it’s ocean mist I love the way you say it’s the same it still has bergamot in it which it does at a smaller amount and or less fragrant amount so you can say it’s still there legally! It has the new fragrance that changed the whole dynamic of the fragrance to one when we bought ocean mist at the store and wound up in the shower it promptly went back for a full refund because it smells (ocean mist) nothing like the old captain with bergamot alone !!! Like many others have said on here you want to change something make a complete change altogether not go in and start changing the existing fragrance, then try to gaslight your customers and say it’s the same just a new name in your own post you said you changed it ! I’m guessing the price for bergamot when up so now your doing a cost reduction to more closely get cost to profit margins back in line ? Just my thoughts ! Every time a company says it’s better to an employee or customer it really saying it’s cheaper and it improves our bottom line and makes shareholders happier ! At the end of the day not about customer satisfaction or experience, expectations it’s a profit driven that’s the sad thing about it on how many customers are upset with this but the math has been done with the cost savings and potential customer loss still a better profit margin and it was weighted out . There is a lot of us out here that really enjoyed your product but now we will go else where to achieve the fragrance we are looking for we used your product because we enjoyed it and most of us owned cologne that also enhanced the bergamot experience of your product in fact we would travel to the carribean to get cologne with the fragrance of bergamot to complement your product. Again these are my opinions and thoughts and me using my free right to free speech still have it to express total disapproval and disatisfaction with the new product ocean mist . Surely there is another company that has a product closely related to your product you discontinued that we can find to fill in the the missing product

After a few weeks of use, I found the cedarwood scent to be clean, masculine, and versatile enough for just about any occasion. The pump bottle is convenient in the shower, dispenses a consistent amount, and the large size lasts a long time. The body wash creates a rich lather, rinses off easily, and leaves my skin feeling clean without any residue or dryness. The fragrance is noticeable while showering and lingers lightly afterward without becoming overpowering. Overall, it's a dependable everyday body wash that combines great performance with a classic scent that's easy to keep coming back to.

My husband HATES his new bottle of Captain. We both loved the scent before the change to “Ocean Mist”, I would comment on how great he smelled after using the original bergamot scent. I know you claim there is no change in the formula, but it doesn’t smell the same and your customers notice. Unfortunately we will be buying something else and we would have been loyal customers for a very long time🙁.

BRING BACK THE BERGAMOT. I don’t like the Ocean Mist, and don’t tell me it’s the same, because it’s not. Different fragrance, different texture, different color. This reminds me of the “New Coke” marketing failure. I want the old Bergamot body wash and the old Bergamot deodorant.

Hate that the scent was changed. Received 4 bottles of the ocean mist and returned them all. Need to go back to the original formula before I buy again. Why change something that was perfect as is. Smh.

I don’t know what has happened with the formula but swagger was a soap that I could use and not have my skin break out. Now the color,smell and longevity has changed. I used to be able to use Swagger and not even have to worry about deodorant because of the sensitivity of my skin and the fact I get migraines from smells. But now with in hours of my shower I start smell my Bo. The deodorant doesn’t seem to work as long either. Please go back.

You changed the Captain and now I hate the Captain but I'm also now stuck with 4 bottles of this new Captain. I can't believe your saying its the same while also saying you changed the formula. I hope you change it back. I wonder, did you have feedback saying the Captain was bad and that's why you changed it? This was a bad move. So bad it motivated me to come here and say something.

It smells really good and clean. It’s refreshing. I would recommend it to any male to add to their shower routine. It leathers up really nicely and it easily rinsed off. 10 out of 10.

Scent has changed. Wish that would be called out on the bottle. It smells similar to the new Tide scent.

The captain bodywash has changed. You can’t tell me it didn’t, the smell is different, the color went from blue to light blue, and I don’t even smell it around the house after I take a shower, also my skin doesn’t feel clean anymore. Can’t believe that you broke something that was perfect. I always buy 3 bottle at once monthly, now I have to deal with this cheap product till I find something that makes me feel clean. Please fix it!

You guys changed the Captain scent. The new one is horrible. I can barely even smell it. I love how instead of just making a new scent you went and changed an existing one and tricked me into buying a bottle of body wash that I don't want. Sure, you could say I should have smelled it in the store before I purchased it, but I bought this bottle using Walmart's pickup ordering. So here I was ordering what I liked only to find out the scent was changed entirely. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and I feel scammed. There is a very good chance this pushes me into changing my brand of body wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old spice swagger is a classic scent. Smells great cleans great and this big of a bottle of soap for a great price you can’t pass up. Love the pump on top for when i’m extra dirty.

We’ve always bought Captain but I’ve noticed the smell is different now. It used to say Bergamot but now it say Ocean Mist. The new scent is ok but we like the Bergamot better. I wish company’s would stop messing with current stuff. If you wanted a different scent you could have made a whole different one instead of changing one you already had

I do not care for the new scent. I’m going to change to some other body wash and deodorant now.
