A: Hello Sbs2 - We appreciate your interest in Olivia Platform Bed! We do not recommend altering the product in this way. Removing the legs from the frame would put the weight of the bed on the upholstered rails and they are not designed to support a mattress. I hope this helps! - Eram

Nice but very low to the ground
Nice looking bed. Blue fabric is pretty. Took a while to put together. My only complaint is the bed is very low to the ground. I feel like I’m sleeping on the floor. Going to look for some nice replacement legs.

Nice Bed
Recently bought this bed based on other reviews, I think this might be helpful for others. We really like this bed and are excited about it! Its a great find a great price...sometimes if you can, wait a few weeks and might go on sale, we got lucky and got it on sale. We got a 12 inch mattress to go inside, ordered the Lucid brand mattress from Target, this is my second Lucid mattress from Target and overall, very happy with it. We got the king bed frame. Even with the 12 inch mattress though, it does sit a little lower than we'd like, we might get a few inches box spring or mattress toper to help with the height. The material looks very expensive and chic (we ordered the light creamy, ivory color). It is very soft but also firm and doesnt look like it'll snag and will clean easily. Overall, very easy to build, took about 2 hours. The directions were easy to follow (words and pictures). Also know that you'll use bolts and screws for different parts of the building process so try and keep everything together as best as possible. I would recommend using a drill to make sure everything is tight and secure. You need to pull the slats really tight to make it fit but it'll eventually match up with the holes. Also, the wire frame itselfs looks smaller than we thought but dont worry, it's plenty big once the sides of the bedframe are added on. The corners of the frame dont fully match up, there's a little bit of a gap and you can adjust the headboard to however you'd like too on height, we ended up moving ours up so there is a gap in the back of the bed where the headboards meets the frame, this isnt ideal but a personal choice. We are very happy with this bed and very glad we got it and hope this review and photos help.

Misding critical part
I loved the bed, but the vertical missing support bar was missing from the package. I called Target on 12/18 when I opened the box to put the bed together and, after talking with 2 people, they assured me they were shipping the missing vertical support bar to me and it would be 2 day shipping. Well, that was 10 days ago and I still have not received the missing crucial part. Very disappointing. The bed frame is useless without it. I don’t want to return it. I want the missing part!

Gorgeous bed! Very well made. Color is much better in person! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Just a side note directions weren’t very clear and thankfully I have a jack of all trades hubby cause we were missing some parts and pages of directions but he figured it out and thankfully we have a lot of handy tools. Other than that we’re very happy with this purchase. Not docking any stars on overall review since it came in mint condition and no damages were done in transit. A first for Target! We ordered the King size bed for reference! Also got it on sale! Win win in my book!
