Q: Wondering why the 42 tablets are packaged in 3 bottles. I combine them all into one bottle and it is still not even half full. It seems like a terrible waste of materials. Is there a reason for this?
A: It is due to the approved over the counter treatment cycle being 14 days. Aka unless you've seen a doctor and they have instructed you to use it for longer usage than that, they cannot advise you to do so. The reasoning behind this is that if you have heartburn for that long of period, bad enough to require a strong PPI such as this, there is a reasonable chance its a more serious condition and needs a doctor's attention.
