Q: Why does this new formula say it supports bone health when calcium has been reduced to only 10% of the daily FDA recommended value? Seems like a false statement to me.
A: Calcium is an essential nutrient playing a key role in bone health. Our supplement is formulated to help you meet your daily calcium needs. By providing 10% daily value, we provide a good source of calcium. You can supplement your calcium intake with a separate calcium supplement or calcium-rich foods. Calcium is a bulky nutrient and it is difficult to fit large amounts into a multivitamin containing other nutrients. We also have Vitamin D in our supplement, providing 125% daily value. Vitamin D also plays a key role in bone health by promoting calcium absorption and maintaining normal calcium metabolism.
