OPI Nail Envy - 0.5 fl oz

My nails have become very thin and peel at the ends. I bought this product hoping it would help but found it was very difficult to apply (goes on streaky and uneven) and did not prevent my nails very peeling. Very disappointed.

The worst polish i have ever used. Stripey on application and dries streaky. Looks awful abd Very weird

I see a lot of reviews complaining about the application. After reading the reviews, it doesn’t seem like a lot of these people posting are following the directions on how to apply this properly. You have to start with one thin coat. Basically let that coat dry and then go in with your second coat. You also have to cleanse your nail thoroughly removing any oil off of your nail. If you don’t do this step, this will peel off within a day or so. I actually take rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or nail polish remover on a cotton ball and wipe all of my nails off before putting this product on. After you do these steps. You’re supposed to apply another coat every day for seven days. This formula will not work right if you do not do the steps in the way that you were instructed to. I have very dry brittle nails. I also have vertical lines that create ridges on my nails. I don’t know if it’s because of some type of vitamin deficiency or how dry my nails are or both. The areas and Nails where I have the ridges I do find that They cause the nail envy to cover a little thinner so it looks like they’re streaking, but it’s not it. It’s from the ridges in my nails.

OVER A PERIOD OF A FEW YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT THE BUBBLE BATH, PINK TO ENVY (SHEER), AND THE 'MINK' COLOURED ONE. I HAVE FAIRY HEALTHY, BUT DRYISH NAILS - BUT I HAVE NO TROUBLE WITH APPLICATION STREAKS etc. I THINK THEYRE 'GREAT' ! UNLESS THE FORMULA HAS CHANGED (?) IM SURPRISED AT THE NOT SO GOOD REVIEWS.

Started peeling after one day. Not sure how I'd ever get seven coats on when it looks pretty uneven after two. Crazy expensive when it's no better than regular nail polish.

5 years ago, this was a wonderful, quality strengthener. The Pink to Envy peels off like a piece of plastic by day 3! I am very disappointed. It's expensive and it will be tossed in the trash, most unfortunately.

Can't make this product go on smoothly, very sticky, peels off almost immediately, it is not possible to continue applying additional coat! Looks awful. I thought I got a bad one but for the other reviews I think is an issue here with the Envy Colors formula l. I only can speak to the one I got, btw I have Bubble Bath. Also to note I can't speak to the strengthening benefits since this was my first try with this product. I have not try the clear one.

I bought this several months ago and was excited that there are many colors! My nails are much stronger! Must use consistently, but once it's in your routine the results are fantastic.

I'm satisfied. It has helped my nails rather quickly. Yes the color is a little streaky. But remember you're supposed to be putting on a fresh coat everyday or every other day... I purchased Alpine White. Thank you. For some reason my nails are in very bad condition. Much better now.

Purchased this many months ago, and since I have gone through about 4 bottles, amazing. It is rather streaky and after an extended period of time does go sticky and unusable. but i used to bite my nails and did so for years. They were weak and brittle. This must, I repeat must, be used very consistently but has outstanding results when done. Only thing that faults it is the price

Very disappointed in this it looks awful really streaky! My nails look a mess. Not what I expected for such an expensive product.

I gave this one star because of the color. The first coat of polish goes on like a pretty, sheer, matte polish. But don’t be fooled-it’s a HORRIBLE product. After 2 coats of polish, my nails had ugly streaks. If I barely bumped my nail, polish immediately cracked off. Didn’t last even one day. But ironically-it wouldn’t all come off of my nails. I had to use lots of acetone on my already-damaged nails from wearing shellac. This product is overpriced and made a big mess. Surprised OPI sells this under their label. Returned.

Do not buy. Doesn’t work, peels off, nails are worse now than when I started. It’s not a patch on how it used to be. It was a brilliant product before the formula change.

So disappointed. It is streaky and chips immediately. I appreciate it's a nail strengthener rather than a proper polish, but if you follow the instructions, you're left with ugly nails for 7 days. Couldn't wait to take it off. I can't comment on whether it strengthened my nails (and even ifi it did, I wouldn't use it again).

Like it, seems to do a great job. Like having a little color.

Very disappointed. It does not strengthen, and it cracks very easily. As soon as you have a bath, majority of it is off (that’s with a top coat). The colour is cute but with the recommended 2 coats, it’s streaky as it’s sheer (may be how I’m applying as I’m not a professional) overall I do not think it’s worth it.

Really disappointed with this. Bearing in mind it isn’t cheap, and the addition of colour to the popular nail envy brand means you should be able to wear it as a nail colour, it isn’t at all good enough for that. No matter what I do, it streaks on application. It also chips off very easily so I’ve no idea how it’s meant to work at strengthening your nails. Would not recommend at all - stick to the usual nail envy if you still want to use it.

Great nude colour perfect for what I wanted. Texture is really good and hard wearing exactly as described. Prompt delivery too.
