Used to love this product and would recommend to everyone but the brush and formulation has been changed. Not so easy to apply and now my nails just split, peel and break. Bring back the old formula please. I am now on the hunt for a new product. So disappointed!

I do not know what happened with the new formula, but its terrible. I was using the original formula for years and its the only strengther that worked for me. The new formula made my nails peel and provided now protection. My nails are now super soft and brittle, and I am throwing away the new formula bottle and finding an alternative.
It’s a miss!

Ok, I used OPI envy nail strengthener, 2 coats first on clean dry nails, one coat every day for the 7 days. It was streaky and weird looking from the get go. On the 7th day I removed the stuff. My nails now feel brittle. Also the edges are more pronounced! Maybe because all the coats were so streaky. Please, do not waste your money or time with this product. I find all the other OPI products to be very good.
amazing! quick results!

i was very skeptical since nail strengtheners and treatments like this never really worked for me, but this is actually amazing. i applied a new coat everyday and it kept my nails protected and strong. i use this after i take off a gel set for about a week or so and once i remove it, my nails look and feel restored. i do find that it does chip easily but it isn’t much of an issue for me since i add a new coat daily. my nails always look so much healthier just a few hours after application. i highly recommend especially for people with thin, peeling, and damaged nails (even nails with a damaged dorsal layer) after gel removal. :)

i started applying the clear formula early July. i have bendy nails & was hoping with short time use this would improve that. i applied as directed. Well, this caused lifting, some redness, soreness, yellowing and other issues and made it all way worse. I am so upset.

Bring back the original! This new stuff is horrible. I’ve been using the original since the 90s and was a game changer. The new stuff doesn’t work the same.
Terrible new formula

I hate the new formula! The original was the best! I had been using it for well over 20 years! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! My nails are paying the price for what you’ve done. Not happy at all!!

This is my third bottle! Let me explain one thing, I am a circus of symptoms, one of them being the inability to grow my ever so brittle nails, another being ADHD. ADHD kicked in because I did not follow the instructions, I applied two coats then my nail polish and forgot about it for two weeks and they still grew! I'm sharing a picture for the sake of sharing, I hope no one will notice that my ring looks more like a waist trainer for fingers..

I recently bought a bottle of the new Nail Envy formula after loving my bottle of the old formula. Unfortunately the new formula is horrible. My nails are still super bendy despite multiple coats unlike with the old formula. I now have several subungual hematomas due to my nails getting bent backwards during daily tasks. The new formula also chips off in 2-3 days. It's about as effective as a cheap clear coat, and not at all worth it. I'm very sad as the old formula helped me finally grow out my nails and now I'll have to cut them short again because of how weak and damaged they are after using the new formula.
Bring back original formula!

Original formula was awesome. Nails grew and were unbreakable. This new formula does not work. All nails split and break down to the quick.
Not worth $20

This stuff is way too expensive to chip as fast as it does. It does not even last 24 hours before it begins to chip.

I thought I would try this product. Bit was terrible. Nail Envy ruined my nails. They have chipped and split. I figured OPI a well known brand has to be good. Please save your money. Very disappointed.

After a trip to a salon to get gel nails for my holiday my nails started peeling, so I bought this stuff hoping it would be a miracle cure. Sadly, after trying it for a few weeks, I didn't notice any improvement at all.

To say this works is an understatement!!! I’ve never in my life been able to grow my nails past mt finger tips. I have fine brittle nails and they’re now past my finger tips!! So happy

I really did not want to like this because who spends $20 on a bottle of nail polish?!? But I am forced to admit that it's actually really good. Most "nail strengtheners" are just extra-hard polish that make your nails feel stronger while they're on but don't actually do anything. I don't know what it is but this stuff actually makes my nails stronger. The one thing I don't like is that as the layers build up it eventually gets thick enough to peel off, and that damages the very top surface. But I'm getting more disciplined about taking it off with nail polish remover once it gets to that point. Applying a new coat every day, you do go through it really quickly but I don't actually care because who really uses up a whole bottle of regular nail polish before it dries out, anyway? It's really helping me quit biting my nails, not least because they've gotten strong and hard enough that biting them really hurts my teeth.

I have used original Opi Nail Envy Strengthener for over a decade. I usually buy two at a time which lasts me pretty good while. I ordered 2 back in January. I finished my old bottle and opened the new bottle, first thing i noticed was strong chemical smell but i did try it, the base didn’t look unusual but when i applied the nail polish, it had bubbles and no matter how many coats you applied it wouldn’t smooth it out and the nail polish is also OPI brand. Not sure what is in new formula but it is not working. Please bring back the original formula. The protection is not there. I have explored other options until this issue is fixed.
