Q: I currently have acrylic nails trying to grow out some ripped nails that were very short. Can you apply this under your nail and at the cuticle? Or does it need to be applied over the entire Nail.

A: Hi! This nail strengthener conditions your nail to help heal and improve the surface. It works best when applying to bare nails (in place of Nail Primer). Use this first and follow with polish. As an intensive treatment, apply daily to bare nails until desired strength is achieved.

Sooo awesome to prevent nail breakage!!!
I have been using Olive & June's Nail Strengthener for over a year now every single time I paint my nails and I can't say enough good things about it! Without the strengthener my nails are very brittle and flexible, but after painting this on before my other layers of polish and top coat my nails are super strong! I can definitely tell the difference when my polish starts wearing off because my nails get flexible and brittle again. This is a must have as a base layer!

Love this brand

Absolutely disgusting, this is clearly somebody else's return and there's mushy tape on the packaging and it was leaking and the fact that I paid almost $20 for this and this is what I got from the third-party seller is appalling. You best believe I am returning it back to target and getting my full refund so unacceptable

So many compliments on my nails!

I just bought the nail strengthener and the results have been great so far! My nails are longer and stronger than they have been in a while. Easy to apply and isn't dense or goopy like a lot of other stengtheners. Overall, highly recommend this and any of the colors to everyone who asks and can't wait to buy more colors for nails that look like I've just been to the salon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having this system! I was a little confused about the peel layer (to cure or not to cure…you don't have to. Just let it dry). That is one of my favorite components to this because I tend to peel my polish off any way (I know, it's bad) but this makes it less damaging. Doesn't affect the longevity of the manicure at all! I can't wait for more colors!!!

Shocked!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used nail strengtheners in the past, without much success. Frankly, I expected the same from this one. I was shocked to find, after only four applications, that my nails were significantly strengthened. I wore those four applications for two weeks, and then removed the strengthener. For the last several days, I have not applied any, and I have noticed that my nails are continuing to be hard. I do plan to continue to use the product 3 to 4 times a week My nails had previously been thin, easily ripping vertically, soft, and just generally in bad shape. I am shocked how well this product worked! This is on my re-buy list.

Worth every penny

It took some time to get used to how to do my own nails, but the gel system makes the learning process rather easy. I've been using the system for 4 months and won't ever go back to the salon. I get to do my nails on my own schedule. No appointment necessary. Not to mention the health of my nails has improved significantly. I'm so glad to have found O&,J. More gel please!!!

Impressive Results!

I'm surprised it actually works
I used to use the dollar store stuff and assumed all strengtheners were just bad nail polish scams. This is not nail polish, it's a glaze that makes my nails shiny, and stronger. I have a bad habit of chewing on my nails when I'm nervous. I put this on daily and I notice a visible difference because the tip growth is white and not translucent, even on the sides of my nails! I will add photos if I get away from doing the daily habit of before and after.
