Worth it!

I really like this product and I'm on my second bottle. Here are some tips that I have found helpful to strengthen my nails: 1. Wait for it to dry. It doesn't long. 2. Reapply as needed. I usually do it 2-3 times a day. 3. Give your nails a break like 2-3 days or longer before painting again. I really noticed a difference after 3-4 days.

We’re sorry this nail hardener didn’t meet your expectations. 💔 A few things can help it stay on longer: applying very thin coats to clean, completely dry nails, avoiding water for at least an hour before and after application, and doing a very light buff just to remove the surface shine. Even if your nails are thin or bendy, a super‑gentle buff with a fine‑grit file (just one or two light passes) won’t damage them; it simply helps the product grip better. it works

Might work well on it's own

Maybe this works well on its own…however I tried using it before doing the Olive and June gel system. My nails that usually last a week or two, peeled off the same day. Maybe I needed to give it more time, but I probably won’t use it again as a part of my nail routine.

definitely recommend!

Great nail serum

This is a great nail strengthener! It’s like a serum, and dries/absorbs into your bare nails. It has definitely made a difference in strengthening my nails, along with regularly using hand creams and even massaging my skincare into my nails morning & night. I prefer having my nails bare, so this product is perfect.

Just ok. Takes a long time to dry when using without polish on top. It is also sticky as it dries. Found that after a week of wearing (solo) my nails still flaked and chipped.

No breakage

Magic In A Bottle m!

I work with an industrial sewing machine all day, so my nails take quite a beating. Because of the repetitive motion of my work, I can hit the machine and have chipped and broken my nails. O&J Nail Hardener to the rescue! I put a thin coat BEFORE applying color. After two weeks of trying this product, I accidentally smacked my hand on my sewing machine and my nail DID NOT BREAK or chip! My nails feel stronger yet still have flexibility. If you're prone to peels or chips, this may be the product for you!

Great Treatment!

The hardener was the perfect treatment between my gel manicures. I have been able to grow my nails much longer since using gel and I was able to swipe this on for a few days in between when I didn’t have time. It was a great treatment to protect my nails and gave shine so that my nails didn’t look bare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this nail hardener. Dries within a couple of minutes and really puts a tough barrier on my nails so I don’t break them. I regularly use press on and such so it’s nice to give my nails a break and not worry about them being thin and brittle.
