The Denatonium Benzoate is added because we unfortunately live in a world where it's not enough to put "do not drink" on a bottle of acetone. The DB is added to make it unpalatable so someone won't drink it and poison themselves (acetone by itself has no taste). It's added for a similar reason to adding an odorant to natural gas.

Q: Why does the information tab say " Contains Aloe, Contains Plant Extracts" if the ingredients list is only "acetone, denatonium benzoate. " neither of which are aloe or plant extracts?

Noticed today as I opened the packages that this bottle , even though it came delivered in plastic wrap to prevent damages to the box if it leaked, half of the bottle was gone because there was a leak. Luckily it was wrapped in a plastic bag so it didn't damage anything else in the box that came along with it. However, when I tried to initate a return the system said this item was not returnable. Such a scam. They push damaged products onto the custmers and then give us no recourse. What gives?! I would not recommend ordering liquids from Target if this is how they are dealing with issues.

Great at removing gel polish. Removes regular polish in a swipe. Be very careful, I did ruin quite a few things by accidentally tipping the bottle over. Acetone will melt plastic. That includes AirPod cases. As long as you follow instructions this did just as good as the more expensive removers. I would buy again but not sure when I’ll have to. This bottle lasts a good amount of time.
