Q: How many times can you use a container? Since the polish comes off inside the jar, will it become less effective after multiple uses?

A: Depends on the polish (chunky glitter, dark polish, gel, etc.) and nail length. The acetone will get dirty and bristles will bend. You can also dump and replace the acetone and clean the bristles too.

Barely works on acrylics. I have had these acrylics with 1 fill for a little over a month and wanted to remove them to let my nails breathe for a bit. I clipped them back before soaking my nails for 30 minutes each before taking an electric file to them, and still barely any came up. It loosened the edges but very quick to reharden. Didn't even remove color from the nail.

So here's the thing....if you are trying to remove gel polish or acrylic without first filing the top layer, nothing will magically remove your polish. File, soak, gently scrape. Make sure you wash thoroughly and then apply moisturizing products and cuticle oil. Strengthening treatment...even better. Don't be dim, do the proper steps, and don't expect chemicals to work miracles.

The product seems to work well. The disc inside seems like it will last but I won’t know because half of the product leaked in shipping. The jar was factory sealed with a liner and the screw cap dispenser that it leaked everywhere in the packaging. Without the liner, it still leaks if it’s tipped slightly to either side I really don’t know what it would do if it was full. I was disappointed because I needed the product for an event.

I could not open this item for the life of me. I tried so hard and so many ways. I had to find a way to crack the top open. I think the idea of the brushes in the middle of the bottle is interesting. However, I had gel polish on, and it didn't do much for me. I also used aluminum foil to wrap my nails with a cotton ball soaked in this liquid. I left it on for about 10 minutes, and it barely came out. I really wanted to like this but I think I will go back to the traditional nail polish remover bottles.

Dang. How much of my life, and how many cotton balls, have been wasted by bottled nail polish? This thing is amazing. Almost instantly took off thick black polish with glitter. I’m glad to see other reviews state that I can refill and reuse it when the liquid gets too dirty. Yes, it’s very drying to dunk your finger in acetone. I immediately rinse the acetone off before moving to the next finger. Follow up with a good moisturizer for hands and oil for nails.

Love the scrubber/brush whatever it is in this nail polish remover. It’s the easiest, fastest way I’ve found to remove glitter and nail polish in general. I reuse the container and replace the nail polish remover after it gets really dirty. Eventually the thing inside does weaken and ultimately break, if it didn’t I’d have gave it 5 stars.
