The file meant for toenails cut two of my toes the first time I used it. Please be careful when using these files. The size and shape of these files are nice but they might be too gritty for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything. I love how it all came. My zipper broke immediately but they replaced it immediately. I love how my polish dries quickly and how it last on my nails . My one con is that once I remove the polish, my nails beds look orangey-yellow. /discolored. I like to go without polish sometimes and this discoloration is not for me.

The grit is very coarse, I was looking for something more fine - but that could have been an error on my part. But the main problem I have is that the file sliced my finger upon the first use.

Bring it back!!! The K. I. T. (Keep It Together) Kit has literally the essentials you need - top coat, cuticle serum, a nail file, and a cute zippered pouch! The pouch fits more than you'd think! I love to pack up the pouch when I'm traveling - I usually will put all of those items plus hand serum, nail clippers, cuticle pusher, and/or nail glue if I'm traveling with press-ons! This pouch has traveled with me to many, many international and national trips for the past SIX YEARS and COUNTING! It's easy to wipe clean, and it protects my stuff. Seriously, the best.

Beware!
The absolute worst. The edge is so sharp it gave me a terrible “paper” cut under my nail. I was barely applying pressure when filing. I have never had this happen from a nail file before and I do my nails weekly.

Sometimes it's the little things. You wouldn't think a nail file can make a huge difference but these most certainly do. The fine grit side is very gentle on your nails. (That's key to helping nail health.) And the coarser grit side comes in handy too when needed. I only use these nail files. This pack is a good value.

Gentle But Effective
I've been using Olive and June products for several years and have had a lot of success growing out my nails and reducing peeling and breaking since I switched to this brand. I like these nail files because they are effective at shaping my nails without tearing them up. I use the rougher side to gently buff callouses around my nail beds, and it keeps everything around my nails looking like I've just been to a salon. I love the thin file for my toes - I've tried many different files for my toe nails and can never get the right angle with standard files. The thin file fits around my toenails perfectly and makes pedicures much easier. The files last a long time before I need to replace them.
