DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
SIDE 1 – EVEN OUT: Place buffer along nail edge at an angle and using gentle strokes in one direction only, file the nail into the preferred shape. Smooth and even out edges of the nail.
SIDE 2 – SMOOTH NAIL: Use easy strokes across the nail in one direction only, to smooth deeper ridges and remove stains. Very deep ridges may require more than one buffing treatment. Repeat every 2-3 weeks.
SIDE 3 – BUFF NAIL: Buff nail surface to eliminate fine ridges and stains. Use easy strokes across the nail in one direction only, for a smooth matte finish before final shining. Repeat every 1-2 weeks.
SIDE 4 – SHINE NAIL: Apply light pressure while stroking across the nail to bring out an amazing natural shine. The more often you repeat this step the shinier your nails will look.

Doesn't work
Had a different brand buffing block that was getting worn out due to extensive use over time. I saw this Trim one and bought it as a replacement. Side 1 started tearing at first use and isn’t “sandy”. The old, much used block is more useful than this one is brand new. Disappointing, and does not serve a purpose.

Doesn't fully cover grays
I was looking for a more gentle hair color to cover up my grays. I have a lot of hair and was very deliberate in applying the color to make sure I got full coverage. When I finally washed and dried it, I was disappointed to see that it hadn't fully covered the grays. It had muted them a bit - kind of made them a lighter brown than the rest of my brown - but it was still obvious that my hair was not a uniform color. I have medium-dark brown hair and used 5.03, expecting it to darken my hair just a smidge, but if anything it lightened it a bit. I would call this more of a color gloss than a true hair dye.
