  • A: I wouldn't recommend it, it is soft enough for your lenses not to burn when you put them on. I would recommend you get a contact lens relief

  • A: No, Opti-Free PureMoist is not preservative free. Currently there are not any preservative-free multi-purpose solutions. However, Alcon makes Clear Care, which is a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning solution that is naturally preservative-free and can be a game changer for people with sensitive eyes. Q: I can no longer find Opti Free express which I use to rinse my contacts in the morning. Is this solution good for rinsing or do the contacts need to sit in this solution for several hours before wearing? I don't want to burn my eyes....

  • A: Yes, this is a multi-purpose solution that you can use for rinsing your contact lenses. The contacts need to sit in the solution 6+ hours to completely disinfect them, but will not cause any burning after rinsing. However, Hydrogen Peroxide solutions should NOT be used for rinsing, they need the full 6 hours to neutralize. Sorry for my delayed response and thank you for your interest in Opti-Free!

Appears to have new formula!! Crazy discomfort, dry eye, stabbing feeling. My eyes are twitching like crazy. The bottle is different now and this formula is not the same.

Horrible new formula - and I've used this stuff for years and years. My eyes are so irritated and dry and it feels like my contact lenses have a tear in them. I had to throw this away and going to try Replenish.

The audacity to discontinue a perfectly good product and replace it with something worse, while claiming it's the same and even go as far as to keep all the old reviews is insane. This review is for the NEW 5-in-1 solution and not the OLD hydraglide solution. It sucks. I'll be switching to a different brand, not only because it's not as good, but because of your shady practices as well.

don't use

i was given a trial size of this when i first started using contacts. i bought a full sized one once i finished it. my eyes would sting when i first put them in and i thought it was just my eyes getting used to the contacts / being touched. this was not the case as the stinging and redness continued even after i became more comfortable with putting in and wearing my contacts. my contacts were drier too while using this. i had to use eyedrops 5x a day. i have monthly contacts and was lucky to get 2.5 weeks of wear out of them while using this solution.

I used to use their regular product but my contact lens became dry on the 3rd week (my monthly) also used off brands and I got itchy eyes. Changed formula?

I have been using this for years now, no issues. Mow every single time I soak my lenses in this, use my contact lens the next day, my eyes are red as can be! They must have chanhed something. I know that its not my contact lens. I switch between daily disposables, extended wear, but the second i soak them and use the next day. My eyes freak out and become so red.
