The Quest vacuum bag is very basic. It is high density and has no Hepa filtration. While being basic makes it affordable, affordability is only one of a number of possible needs customers using the Oreck Quest may have. The size of the bag is relatively small, making it perfect for single use. Using a bag one time helps limit the availability of allergens in the home and helps prevent potential pest issues such as fleas. Since we have cats and I am allergic, I wish that there were bags available for the Oreck Quest with Hepa filtration. There could be a variety of bags made for each vacuum cleaner to meet different customers' needs. While I note that the similar vacuum, the Oreck Quest Pro does have some kind of Hepa filter available, I am not sure whether or not it is compatible with the Oreck Quest that I have. I wish these bags and filters were interchangeable or interoperable among Oreck vacuums.
