Q: Are these sheets wrinkle free?
A: These sheets are not wrinkle free but they have that “no fuss” look that is totally wonderful and they feel like a dream to sleep on anyway! After a few nights they get soft and buttery and I don’t even notice the wrinkles! Love, love these!
submitted byM - 3 years agoA: The sheets can't/shouldn't be wrinkle free--they're Percale Sheets. Percale weave sheets are different from Sateen weave; they're "crisp" and not as silky. They also soften over time, sleep cooler, and last (much) longer. Percale sheets will *always* wrinkle a little; it's because of how they're woven. It's a trade off for their advantages.,
submitted byThor - 3 years agoA: No. But percale sheets do wrinkle because of the weave. This is a feature, not a bug. It is part of the "crisp" feel of percale. If you want less wrinkles I recommend sateen weave.
submitted byeuphoria99 - 2 years agoA: These sheets are most certainly NOT wrinkle-free! Straight out of the dryer they look like somebody wadded them up and left them that way to dry. I iron the pillowcases and the top hems of the top sheets, but the original creases in the hems reappear again after one night. In addition, they have shrunk to the point where the bottom sheet is a real chore to put on by myself. After about the fourth washing, one side hem on the top sheet came out and I had to stitch it up again.
submitted byNot happy - 4 years agoA: There are pictures further down from customers. Definitely not wrinkle free. However, 'wrinkle free' is commonly because the fabric has been treated with chemicals and thus would no longer be 'organic'. Actually, I like the mild wrinkles. They give the sheet a more 'natural' look which goes well with a 'zen' decor. That said, if you suffer from a skin sensitivity then its a choice between the wrinkling or chemicals on which will be more adverse to your health. Can not comment on how well they do in a dryer as I use a solar-powered device known as a clothesline. The weight of the sheet naturally draws out the worst of the wrinkles as it dries, the sun sanitizes the sheet, and the electrical cost is nil. If your area allows for this method I highly recommend it. :)

I bought the full set in white set recently, and the cotton is a nice weight, with just a hint of crispness--nothing scratchy or stiff. There is no added finish, so they're not slick or fuzzy feeling like sateen or microfiber, and the 300 TC is percale weave, so they breathe instead of feeling hot. I had almost given up on finding a plain cotton sheet set to fit a tall mattress for under $100, and I'm happy with these. In fact, I'm considering buying a backup set.

Q: Are these safe to bleach if needed? I was hoping to get the white sheets for our guest room, but I want to make sure they'll stay nice and white over time.
A: The care label says: Only non-chlorine bleach when needed, machine wash warm normal, wash with like colors, tumble dry low, remove promptly, warm iron if needed.

submitted byJenny - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: GOTS is a textile certification, so it would only apply to the cotton--not the elastic in the fitted sheet, for example. With regard to the finished product, the small print on the packaging says "this product is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it is free from harmful levels of chemical substances." (This capitalization is in the original.) I hope that helps you decide whether this is a good choice for you.
submitted byNew Yorkah - 5 years agoA: I have no idea and thus normally would not comment as "I don't know" is truly irritating to see as a response to a question, but wanted to say this: I don't trust the competence of ANY organization when it comes to my health. There is always the possibility of error. If there is any doubt and you must buy something sooner than can be adequately researched, I turn to my old standbys of White Vinegar, Baking Soda, and some natural salt. You can find different recipes on the web for nullifying nasty chemicals. Good luck! I know what its like to have sensitive skin.

Q: 3-4 years ago, I bought Threshold's "Classic Percale sheet set" and LOVE IT, but they're no longer. They started out very crispy/loud at first, but softened up after wash. Is this item crinkly or more smooth and soft right away?
A: These are soft and smooth right out of the dryer! Love them! They are also lightweight so cool and breathable!

Q: Do these Threshold sheets include Target’s patented Perfect Fit technology, which features full perimeter elastic and additional elastic at the corners to accommodate mattresses from 9” to 20” deep.
A: I have a memory foam mattress queen size with a 4 in foam topper, this makes my mattress thickness around 20in - these sheets fit my bed perfectly, no issues with slipping from the corners or sides, they do require extra care while washing and drying, they are super soft and very cool and comfortable. This is the only brand I use because of the perfect fit elastic corners.

Q: Does the tag on these say they are 100% Orgabic Cotton? A lot of times sheets listed as organic cotton have a tag that only says 100% cotton.
