Soft skin

I would buy again

Love this stuff
I keep reordering this product because I love the lightness of it on my skin along with the tingling sensation of waking it up. I do use it all over my face including the sensitive parts of my eye lids and under eye area because it also has a nice tightening effect when it dries that makes your eyes feel "accounted for" if that makes sense. :)

Big Disappointment
I wanted to try something new to see if there is something better than what I already use. Origin was my go to brand for a lot of skin care items since early 2000s. I don't know what has happened, but a lot of the great products were either discontinued or changed in formula. Some of the newer products just don't deliver, like this one. I found it neither brightening nor retexturing/smoothing. In fact, I found it leaving my skin dehydrated and blotchy. I also found it difficult to apply as it has a sticky texture. I normally try to not leave 1-star/2-star reviews. I try to find a least one really good redeeming quality so I can give it three stars, but there is nothing in this product to find positive. I am not giving it one star because I am in a good mood, and I don't think it didn't outright damage my skin (it's recoverable with my previous product). I waited till I finished the product before leaving this review because it takes a few months before one starts to see results from a skin care product. I am so glad this is finished and I don't plan on repurchasing.

Love adding this serum to my skincare routine! It smells absolutely amazing and gives the skin an instant glow / radiant appearance. One pump is enough for the entire face and the formula is very spreadable. I think I'm on my third bottle already and I will continue to purchase this product in the future.

Bumpy rash and irritation
I love origins products and have used the ginzing cream before so I wanted to try the serum too. Following two uses of the product my skin has broken out in a bumpy rash, both under and on the surface of my skin, across my chin cheeks and forehead.

Light velvety texture.
I'm 51 years young, and take medications which makes my skin dull. I love this serum. Literally brightens my skin as I put it on. Light and absorbs well into the skin. I have purchased this twice and will purchase again.

Skin is glowing and clear
I've used this for about 3 months and my acne-prone super sensitive skin has brightened and cleared up so much! Ran out about 2 weeks ago and I can already see how dry and bumpy my skin is starting to look. Just purchased another bottle. I'll make sure to never run out again.

Nothing spectacular, not worth the $
Purchased for the reviews, packaging, and because this product claimed to smooth the skin. Unfortunately, this product made my pores look bigger and my skin feel less tight, issues that I've never dealt with before while using other products. Anything this serum claims to do can be achieved with lower-cost products. I will keep using it since I've already wasted the money, but I wouldn't purchase it again. I use it alongside the Origins cleanser, which I could also do without.

Beware
I have used this for a few years and loved it. I got a new one and when used it for the first time my face felt like it was on fire and was red all over. I think the formula must have changed as this didn't used to happen. After I realised what had happen washed it off and most of the reaction dissipated. Next morning there was still some reaction. It's unfortunate because I really used to like the feeling and results of this product but I won't be using it again. Maybe others won't get the same reaction?

Holy grail!
I've seen so many reviews on here saying that it made their skin red, sensitive etc. I had nothing but amazing compliments about my skin! I have used vitamin C in my skincare on/off over the years. The key is to slowly introduce it into your skincare, making sure not to mix with other acids and other products! Always wear SPF the next day and keep reapplying as you should! I have friends who use a vitamin C serum without using SPF and they have skin reactions too. Please do not let negative reviews put you off this serum, it's amazing! So hydrating and gives a lovely health glow without looking greasy!
