Same with the texture, reminded me of bologna. The packaging is hard to keep it fresh, so you have to put it in a plastic baggy which is more work and cost than just putting a plastic lid back on or zipping the container it comes in. I do like the square shape. It fits the bread perfectly. Good price as well. I probably won't pick this out at the store in the future, but it wasn't bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually pretty good quality of ham bologna for a sandwich, just add your other necessities that you’d like on your sandwich and bam you’ve got one tasty sandwich going on. The ham is very flavorful and my picky eaters loved it! Packaging isn’t that bad either but I prefer to put it in a ziploc bag to keep it fresher, just always been that way.
