This osmo genius starter kit is more than just a game. My toddler has been learning a lot from this, i am so impressed how my son now know his shapes and some and letters. When he sees some toys he tells me the shape of it and now he counts how many toys he has overall he has been learning a lot and interacts more with older kids [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I gave this a lot of time before writing the few as I wanted my son to get some experience with it before reviewing. I must say, he had a lot of fun with it. The base is good and the reflector works well. Apps are well designed and he was a self starter on it all (huge bonus). The only thing is that it didn't have a whole lot of sticking power. The pieces and the reflecting mirror do need to stay together. So, make sure you keep that in a bag or a bin to keep it all together. Also, do keep in mind the case you have your iPad in. We had to remove his frequently. Otherwise, great stuff. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a very fun kit! Easy to set up and perfect for my 4 year old daughter to use. The activities are not too hard and just right for her. The pieces that come with them are easy to handle and provides her for hours of game play! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have an eight-year-old and a four-year-old daughter that love to learn. Osmo genius has kept them busy while at they learn and have fun. I monitor all of my daughters time on the tablet and with Osmo Genius I no longer have to do much of that since I know that they are learning and not watching videos or other content. My daughters are able to play multiple games while having fun. The game has a voice over that interacts with the kids and guides them which is nice. I love that it comes with a shape, drawing, letters and an engineering game. It has helped my daughters with their vocabulary words and with math. My four-year-old is curious and advanced so she is able to play the games on her own. My husband and I are truly pleased with the Osmo Genius Starter Kit. I would definitely recommend it to all the parents and kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My wife is a 1st grade teacher and I thought this would be a great educational tool to bring into her classroom. She was very excited at the idea of it. Unfortunately, the product didn't quite live up to expectations. The words app works well for an individual or partner activity in the classroom, however, I wish you could control and adjust the settings a bit more. It would be helpful to be able to practice things like short vowels or consonants specifically. The Numbers game was very confusing even to adults who tried to figure it out at first. The kids struggled to understand what to do and didn't enjoy it as much as the words game. Some of the other apps could work well as a reward or fun activity but weren't as educational. The Newton and Masterpiece games, while entertaining for adults, are just simply too confusing for the kids to play at this age. They may work well for older upper elementary age kids. Interesting product and kids like the games they understand, but definitely won't be using it as much as I had originally planned. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this for my daughters who are absolutely in love with it. I love how it’s a mix between tactile learning and technological learning. It’s great how it bridges that gap. Both of my girls are in the age range listed and the levels are perfect for them and where they are developmentally. Their favorite by far is the Tangram. They love making animals and shapes out of the tiles. This was a great purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
