My family loves Stranger Things and we’re counting down to Season 5, so when I saw these candles at Target I had to grab one. I hadn’t heard of Otherland before, but once I looked them up, their vibe and how they talk about fragrance totally fit. The candle smells amazing—like I was transported straight to Hawkins—and it has a premium look and feel that makes it feel high-end (especially for the price). I also love that the label changes when the candle heats up—such a fun surprise!

This is not to discourage anyone from buying an Otherland candle, but as somebody who has experienced the candles made by this company and actively loves and enjoys them- the entire collection was an incredible disappointment. I bought two of the Stranger things candles and neither one of them have any scent throw. This comes after trimming the wick after burning for four hours. It does not flood my home with the scent that I have come to expect. I will be returning them as I see them as defective.
