The ototo agatha spoon holder and steam release it's a really cute idea as a convenience item for the kitchen. I like the overall design.However it did not work great for me. I didn't have a spoon that would fit properly, as it's a bit small. I like the feel of the item but it is very lightweight.

This is a cute idea -- it really is, and I wanted it to work, but it just wouldn't. You need a spoon with a very thin handle and a pot with a very straight side. Then and only then will you * maybe * get this to work. My pots do not have perfectly straight sides and they have a metal rim -- 2 things that are incompatible with this spoon holder. I also don't have very thin spoons. That's 3 strikes and little Agatha didn't work for me. FYI if you use this on too large of a spoon, it can and will pop off. Then Agatha looks like she's flying! (Don't attempt this near a hot stove.)

I tried several different spoons different sizes and materials and I just couldn't get it to work. The photo shows it keeping the spoon balanced mine sadly just tipped right over. I think if maybe some type of moldable material that could withstand heat was used maybe it would have worked better. The design was cute and the material looks very durable. Sadly it just didn't work out for me. I was given this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I had never heard of a spoon holder like this before, but I am thoroughly impressed. This was a pleasant surprise and I am glad to have learned of a new kitchen device! I usually set my wooden spoons atop the pots, but I prefer this method now.

While I think this little spoon holder is super cute I do have trouble with it fitting most of my cooking spoons and falling off. I wish it could be a little wider to wrap around more for a better fit. But overall it is cute and works for some of my spoons.
