OTOTO Count Corkula Wine Stopper and Pourer Silicone Wine Accessory Black/White

First, I wanna say that I am reviewing this in exchange for trying it out. I honestly have to say this is a great, fun, wine, stopper, and pourer. I like the idea that it’s a cute way to save some wine that’s left in the bottle and I can also use it to pour the wine out of the bottle. Very smart design, which is functional and great for Halloween.

This is a great wine stopper and pourer. I love that this is Halloween theme and totally gets me in the spirit of things. This fits in to all the wine bottles I've used this with and when I pour the wine, nothing has spilled out. This works fabulous! I will definitely use this all the time, not just during Halloween time. I did receive this free as an exchange for my honest review. I definitely recommend it!

This is a review for the Count Corkula, Wine Stopper and Pourer. I want to mention that I did not purchase this item, It was sent to me to do a review. I will give my complete and honest review. To start, I want to say that this Wine Stopper and Pourer is the cutest thing that I have seen in a long time. It pairs up nicely with the OTOTO Corkscrew and Bottle Opener that I reviewed earlier. This is a Halloween themed combination wine stopper and wine pourer. The wine stopper is in the shape of a vampire head and the wine pourer is in the shape of the vampire’s cape. This is made out of silicone and it is very well constructed. The only thing that I don’t like about this piece is the face of the vampire. The features of the face are cut out of the white silicone it I made from, but they don’t standout enough. The features could have been cut a little deeper or they could have painted them black so they would be easier to see. To use this stopper and pourer, all you need is a newly opened bottle of wine. First, you take the cape which is the pourer, and then you just push it into the open bottle top until it stops against the back of the cape. Then you take the wine stopper, which is the vampire head. You just have to push the stopper into the hole that is in the cape until it stops making sure that the head is facing out of the open space in the cape. While I was doing this review, my sister stopped over and she immediately saw the Count Corkula box and figure laying on the table next to my laptop. She just loved the look of the wine stopper, I know that this meant to be a Halloween wine stopper, but I think that it is so cute that it could be used all year long. The only downside of this wine stopper is that it is a little taller than regular stoppers. When it is in the bottle, it just fits in the refrigerator, on the top shelf with no room to spare. Other than the topper being a bit too long, I completely recommend this product and I really think that anyone would love to have one for themselves. It keeps your wine fresh for a few days, though I wouldn’t rely on it for long-term storage. The only downside is that it’s a bit bulkier than your average stopper, so it might not fit in every fridge door easily. Overall, it’s a playful and useful accessory for casual wine drinkers who love quirky kitchen gadgets.

Overall, this product could not be more spot on - a vampire cork for my red wine was almost too perfect for a fall get together with friends. I love that you can utililze this for better wine pouring - someone like me who spills quite often was greatful for the smooth pour. Plus it's honestly just more fun being able to see this as opposed to your regular run of the mill wine cork when you go back for a refill!
