The notch is annoying and to use the belt clip you have to have your phone upside down and everytime you take it out you have to turn it around. Very disappointed.

After upgrading from an iPhone SE to the iPhone 16 Pro, I needed to get a new Otterbox Defender case and holster. Unfortunately, due to the design of the new iPhone, I have to make adjustments to the way that I secure the phone to the holster. With my previous case, it did not matter which direction that I placed the case in the holster. With the “indent” on the right side of the 16 Pro phone, there is only one way to securely attach the case to the holster. Nothing major but definitely a learning curve to make sure that the case doesn’t detach from the holster.

All of the quality that we expect from Otterbox. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I do not like the open side around the photo button. Really leaves that area exposed to damage.

I have always had an Otter Box for my iphones and despite dropping the phone I haven't had any problems. Otter Box protects my phone and the belt holster keeps in close when I am wearing jeans or khakis and need to have quick access. The belt holster also doubles as a phone holder on flights.

Love the case minus the fact that you can’t use it on flat wireless chargers because the case is raised to high where the lenses are. Pretty frustrating.

I bought this case bc I’m very active at work and home , I needed something to protect it from falls and everyday abuse . I am very happy with the case , I know some don’t like the cut out on the side but I don’t find it to be a problem , highly unlikely my phone drops on something on that spot and everywhere else is very well protected . I recently bought a MagSafe fine woven wallet to go with it and I’m very happy

Iphone 16 pro, fatal flaw. No protect to edge of glass front around the camera control button. Cracked the edge of the glass and thus cracked across the face with a week. After having previous otter boxes, never have i had this type of weakness and never have had an issue until this one. Now inhave to get a new glass face for my phone. As a fire fighter. There should not be any exposure to a glass edge. Also phone only clips into belt clip upside down, one way only vs prior models

Just what I needed, when welding the slag sparks would melt the screen, leaving little spots on it. When I bought a new 16 pro I bought the otter box case with the holster. Perfect protection the case protects the phone from dropping the holster covers the screen, then just in case I got the screen protector which is thicker and each are a perfect fit I am so impressed with Otter Box I didn’t get insurance. We will see about insurance. Definitely recommend.

Nice case from otterbox but the cutout for the camera button leaves the screen exposed to damage. Already broke one screen protector and it’s not super comfortable to hold in your hand. It would be nice if they had a non cutout version.

Im nervous about the new case cutouts and safety. I am a hardcore otterbox user. I really like the full case with the screen protector. The side camera button has a larger cutout and it just doesn’t seem so secure. My last phone had an otterbox. I forgot it on the roof of my car and drove off. Another car actually ran over it. But no damage to my phone!

Needs two belt clip slots

The case itself is good, but it only has a slot on one side to put it in the belt clip it comes with. Which means you have to make sure that slot is facing up, otherwise it falls out. I guess if you carry your case on the left side you probably won’t have this issue, but I carry my case on the right side. I understand there is a button the right side of the phone but i have lined it up and the is enough space to put a slot on the other side.
