OtterBox iPhone 17 Pro Max Commuter Series Case for MagSafe with Camera Control - Sagebrush Green

Durable phone case for iPhone 17 pro max I wish it came in other colors but I’m guessing they were sold out so I choose this one..I got it on sale so that’s even better!

Really like everything about my Otterbox except the mag safe charging? My phone gets extremely hot when using my direct contact mag safe charger through my Otterbox case on my IPhone 17PRO max phone?

Case is not grippy at all, it slipped out of my hands once and when it fell it cracked my screen protector, did not protect my phone.

Slips easily in & out of my front pants pocket. Used same case design for my iPhone 13 Pro Max for 4+ years…iPhone & OtterBox case survived several 30+/ inch drops.

The case makes the side camera button very sensitive and the color isn’t grey/gray at all. I’ll be using a different brand from now on.

Not super functional for charging wirelessly or via cable. Must be taken out of phone case to charge

I had the commuter series on my last version of the iPhone and loved it. I’m super clumsy and drop my phone all the time, but this case always kept it from getting damaged. I just got a new one for my new IPhone 17 Pro Max. I love the two toned purple color (looks great with the navy phone). Since it’s also the commuter series, I expect it to do an equally great job at protecting the new phone (so far so good!).

I've always resisted Otterbox cases because of their bulk and difficulty operating the buttons on the phone. However this case doesn't have those problems, and in fact it seems to have no problems at all after a few weeks' use. The buttons work really well and the whole thing fits in my pocket as well as the phone did and it is solidly built and looks great. I'm not sure how well it can protect the camera lenses because they project out of the phone, but it does have a rim around them. What could be better? Not much. It's a bit difficult to get on the phone. because it has a lip that you have to coax over the edge of the phone. The charging cover gets in the way of charging, but it also gets in the way of lint that has made my phones die, so probably a good compromise.

The camera button is difficult to operate as designed by apple. The case prevents the ease in operating the zoom function.

Doesn’t wireless charge in a Tesla with the case on.

Perfect color match as well as perfect fit. Our son had one on his iPhone 16 and highly recommended it for my 17 pro max. I made an excellent choice.

I had an OtterBox on my previous iPhone 13 and this one seems to be a good choice for my iPhone 17

Case looks good and is sturdy where the plastic backing is around the phone, but not around the whole phone. The rubber around the buttons on both sides moves easily and is not secure on the phone.

Unfortunately, the case kept pressing against the side camera button and turning on the camera. I had to return it.

So far my phone has survived several drops. My screen protector on the hand hasn’t. The last drop resulted with the edge of the screen protector being damaged, thus leading to a cracked corner of the protector. Maybe with a better quality screen protector my review would be better?

17 pro max case is poorly designed. It constantly pushes in the camera button rendering it useless.

The Otter Box case is very nice, However the side Action button/Slider is effected due to the design of this area. I would like to return this case.

Case color was great and liked the looks but the Camera Control button didn’t work. It wasn’t even a sensitivity issue. The button just didn’t work right. Unfortunately I had to return the case. I would be happy to get this case if I could be sure that the button issue has been corrected.
