I recently dropped my iPhone and my old otter ox case saved it. Unfortunately the drop cracked the case so I needed to buy a new one. I picked the symmetry because it was I s rock and I didn’t want to leave my phone unprotected. Unfortunately this case does not fit the SE 3rd gen as advertised. It is impossible to out on. I checked the otterbox website and watched their recommended installation video. It simply does not fit! Do not buy the symmetry. I will be returning this case asap.

This is my second one. The first one lasted almost 5 years-first phone was an 8, then SE, then and now the newer SE2. The phone is in my pocket, at the gym, with me riding bike, taking hikes-everywhere so for me it has been an excellent purchase.

This case is so stiff and tight that the back of the phone shattered during installation. I don't see any other reviews like this, so maybe it's just me - I'll mark this down as user error. However, beware and be careful when fitting cases to the glass backed iphone models. I've used many Otterbox products on other phones, for me and my kids, they are good products.

I have veen using OtterBox cases for several years. I decided to downsize and get this thinner case as opposed to the Defender Series I’ve always used. I was a bit hesitant because it looks so thin and fragile, but I’ve dropped it a few times and it holds up! No damage to my phone, and I still have peace of mind thanks to this case.

Should have looked more closely. Did not realize it did not have the OtterBox signature two part protection. Even on sale The OtterBox Symetry is twice the price of a CaseMate, which offers the same protection and similar design. Also smudged incredibly easily right out of the box. It is being returned.

Not real good on protection. I thought it was more like the other one that comes in 2wo pieces, and it feels like I’m going to break my phone getting it in and out. It doesn’t fit with any holster either so you got to buy a separate thing to hold on to it.
