I've had this case on my Galaxy S9 since I bought it in 2018. Same case, same phone. My phone still looks brand new and I have dropped this thing so many times. This case is worth every penny and then some! I'm finally upgrading my phone because its 2023 and this phone has run its course but I owe its life to this case. RIP S9 2018-2023, you don't look a day over 1.

I really dislike this case. The plastic used for it is very slippery which has caused me to drop my phone many times more than I normally would. While I immediately disliked it right out of the box, I was hoping I'd get used to it after a few weeks, or that it would break in. Unfortunately not, and today it almost slipped out of my hands into a lake. I can't recommend this case to anyone.

If that isn't the case for you then we suggest tracking down a Defender Series model. The outer layer of the Defender will be completely silicone, which you might find is easier to grip. Unfortunately, that case is no longer available on our website, but you might be able to find this case with one of our authorized retailers. This is a great case as I knew it would be. Not bulky... fits perfectly. The one thing that I wasn't expecting is its very slick. No "rubbery" grip like the other Otter Box cases ive had. Still a great quality case.

I had an Otterbox for my old Galaxy S7, and it prevented damage despite a number of impact incidents over several years. The case I got for my new Galaxy S9 is just as good - went on easily and looks to provide good protection.

I used to own this case in blue for a few years. I finally chipped the last integral corner, so I went ahead and got the black version. These things are borderline indestructible. I drop my phone daily, and it's kept it safe through so much. Otterbox is always 100% worth the money.
