Refurbished: OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES case for iPhone XR - Black (77-59761) - Manufacturer Refurbished

The Otter Box Defender is the only I Phone case I will ever use. This is because it is clearly superior to most others cases and because I feel confident that because it is protected by a Defender, I can drop my phone during normal use and it will not be damaged.

Really thick and comfortable in the hand, I work construction and drop my phone at least a hundred times a day and I have complete confidence that this cover will protect my phone.

I just got the Defender for my iPhone XR and there is a problem with people hearing me now. There was no problem without the case, but now all my calls seem to be muffled. Is there anything I can do to aloow the microphone full access it had without the case?

Quality product! My first Otterbox finally wore out after several years of protecting my iPhone. Without hesitation, I ordered another to replace it.

When I purchased my iPhone XR a few years ago, I purchased an otterbox Defender. I use my iPhone as a tool to obtain pictures of failed locomotive components. The environment is not kind to this important tool. So, as the original Otterbox Defender began to wear out, I knew that I needed to replace it in kind. No need to do anymore research into what is needed to protect my IPhone XR as this is what and is all I needed. Thank you Otterbox for making such a device!

I’m really liking the new OtterBox defender series. It’s the same quality that I’ve come to enjoy with a OtterBox. As always, their lifetime warranty is the best. The only adjustment I had to make with this new product was no plastic screen like my old one had. I didn’t that fantastic product.

I dropped my phone in the crosswalk of a busy nyc street and walked a few blocks before I'd realized it. It had been run over probably 50 times by the time I was able to retrieve it, and the case/screen protector were pretty banged up, but my phone wasn't even nicked or scratched at all!

I had one of these before and liked it very much, so it was easy to get another when it was time.

No better iPhone protective case. I have dropped my iPhone XR several times while on trail survey hikes in the Payson National Forest's Highline Trail with Volunteers for Outdoor Arizoan (VOAz). One such incident was a 60 foot drop over "the side" requirinbg a rope descent to retireve my iPhone. It was still recording dynamics from the GPS app I had running at the time. I have the same iPhone and recently purchase a new Otterbox Defender case (the proterctive hinge gates get weakover time and tear off easily). I love it!

My husband and I were visiting my mother in law and we stopped to pick up food to go. I placed my phone on the roof of the car and neglected to grab it once food and people were loaded into car. We left restaurant and my phone flew off the top of the car as we passed over a small bridge in Amelia Island, FL. The phone hit the road, bounced off the cement wall protecting the walkway on bridge and remained on the side of the road until we realized I had left it on the roof. We returned to the bridge approximately 30minutes later to find my phone lying on the road, in total working order! Only a minor scratch on the left side. I am a firm believer in OtterBox and have had one on my iPhone since the early 2000's. I've had my OtterBox for years and it is by far the BEST case I've ever owned. After hours of looking for my phone, I realized I left it on top of my car (dumb, I know..) and had to literally go back and search for it on the highway... after hours of my phone being left out on the highway while cars drove over it, my OtterBox somehow completely preserved my iphone!! I was not expecting my phone to be fully intact and working at all but my phone only made it out with a few scratches - I'm SO happy with my experience with OtterBox - fully worth the price if you constantly rush and forget things! :)

Bought screenless Outerbox a while back, 3-4th one I had for various phones but had good luck. I recently left my phone on the back of my truck and hit the highway. Needless to say, I lost my iphone XR. Luckily used a phone tracker to locate phone 5 miles away, and 3 feet off the road in the ditch. It had bounced on the roadway @ 65MPH before landing in 4" of grass. Ironically, phone work and barely had and damage to case. WOW! I am a believer in it.
