OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES XT case w/MagSafe for iPhone 12 Mini - Black (77-80948)

Glad I went with this case over others this time, Otterbox is a good choice if someone needs protection and top notch customer service.

I purchased this case in April this year with my iPhone 12 mini. The case feels great and doesn’t make the phone feel too bulky. Unfortunately, in Early June, I noticed that the cover for the charging port had started to break off. Now, it is only attached on one side and I expect it to fall off in a few days. I would recommend buying the other defender case instead of this one.

IF you carry a 12 mini, BUY this case. i own and wear pants with pockets, so that "no belt clip" thing is actually a good thing for people like me looking for a strong minimalist case for protecting their telephone investment. it feels very secure in hand. mag charge works perfectly.

I did really like the case, but for what I paid I think it should have also came with a belt clip.

Have always had a defender otter box case on my phones. The simple reason is that they protect the phone well and last a long time. The last one I had lasted me almost 5 years. For my new phone there wasn't another case I was going to get. That being said a lot has changed in the last 5 years, that includes the defender series of cases. I missed the built in screen protector honestly. It was great feature but screen protectors are so good now it does just as good of a job. Overall the new case is nice, it is vastly different than the old cases. For starters it is thinner and lighter which is always nice. The way you install the case is quite different now and honestly I prefer the new way since it easier to put in/ take out your phone from the case. The magsafe works flawlessly with this case, no problems at all. Somethings I don't like about the new case is the hinge on the lightning connector port. Its not as sturdy as the old hinges but at the same time is also a little bit more difficult to open. The hinge doesn't sit very tight against the case so the dust protection I think will not be as good. I also wish there was a deeper bevel around the camera on the back. The bevel is very thin and I think it would be easier to damage the lens but the tradeoff here is that the phone case is thinner and plus with the camera design the lens stick out quite a bit from the phone already. Not a huge deal but just something I noticed. This phone case definitely feels like an evolution of the previous case but how long it will last is something still to be determined but I expect good things even if the case is a little pricey.

All I buy is otter box anymore If it’s nice it looks good well worth the money

Very expensive little thin case with no where near regular defenders Protecion! NO BELT CLIP ! All defenders are supposed to have a belt clip ! It didn’t state that in info, I would have never purchased it & wont again

Looks great. Fits great. Feels good in my hand and the Magsafe charger works well with it.

I like it a lot as a case. It’s significantly drop resistant. And comes in and out easily and feels good to hold while using it. But the one downside I am bummed about is, for a MagSafe marketed case the magnet is way weaker than on my Apple case. It’s fine for the charger but doesn’t really operate as advertised with other accessories like the wallet.
