Symmetry Butterfly Clear Case
Poor Quality. Doesn't fit phone properly so it's loose and already turning yellow and I haven't even put it on my phone

A cute and sleek case… but it won’t last too long
This case is cute and sleek but the sides start to detach from the hard plastic back eventually. It lasted me about a year before it started detaching but now it won’t even hold my phone correctly since it’s coming off completely.

Purchased and used from day one with new iPhone 14pro. Back smashed after falling from about a foot.

Sadly disappointing.
I've used Otterbox cases pretty much exclusively for the last 10 years, but this was my first bad experience with their product. I purchased the case with the phone, and it's lived in the case since it's purchase. Like many reviewers here, the back glass of my iPhone 14pro shattered when it dropped from a about 2.5ft. Pretty disappointed, especially with how much of a hassle it is to replace the back glass on this model iPhone. Hoping to find a better case in the mean time until I can get the glass repaired.

Get something heavier duty for a glass backed phon
My phone SHATTERED. It didnt protect it barely at all, I had to get my entire phone replaced. The cameras and entire back glass panel were toast.

Phone shattered with THE CASE ON!
I used to love this case had 3 of them, until one drop with it on and the whole back shattered! I was extremely surprised with otterbox so I reached out to otter box bec “they drop test them” and there’s nothing they can do besides send me a new case which is ok of them but the fact that the phone cracked and there’s no coverage, mind boggling.

12 year Otterbox Customer says goodbye!
12 year OtterBox customer here! Bought this case for my iPhone 14 Pro and let me tell you - it’s garbage. I’m not sure what happened to the “leaders in protective phone cases” product, but it is certainly not worth the price, nor is it protective. After my phone slipped from my hands, and fell a measly 2 feet, the entire back glass shattered. I have NEVER had an Otterbox fail me, particularly during such a minor incident. Do yourself a favor - do your research and buy elsewhere. That’s what I’ll be doing.

Phone took a 3ft fall off of couch and shattered back glass of iphone 14. Also starts to yellow within a few months

Phone shattered in pocket, case falling apart
I ordered an otter box because it’s allegedly the best. Nope, back of my phone shattered from mild walking around? I really don’t even know. I didn’t drop it but out of nowhere my phone was shattered. Now the case is falling apart out of nowhere and doesn’t even hold the phone in.

For a $110, you would expect a 2.5 foot drop to be absorbed by the case. NOPE. Back of the new phone is completely shattered. Will never buy Otterbox again. Overpriced garbage.

Love it!!
I feel bad for all the bad reviews. I have nothing but glowing reviews. I’ve had my case and phone for more than 9 months and dropped it countless times on many surfaces and it hasn’t cracked. The chai color hasn’t been altered by any of my clothing. I love this case!!

Disappointed
Had the OtterBox Symmetry Series+ Clear case on my phone since purchasing. Unfortunately, the glass on the back of my iPhone completely shattered the first time I dropped the phone on a tile floor. I thought OtterBox cases could handle that. I’ve dropped my iPhones on cement sidewalks with other cases, and nothing happened. What happened with “3X as many drops as military standard”? Was a long time customer.

Case povides NO protection for 3' high drop!
Brand new iPhone 14 Pro. Purchased the Symmetry Case AND OtterBox Alpha Glass screen protector. Then, it was my FIRST AND ONLY DROP from 3' height. Others have noted that the case is too slippery. Because of that, my phone slipped out of my hand. As a result of the lack of camera protection, the hard surface impact caused the back of the iPhone case to shatter. Also cracked was the glass bezel that surrounds the 3 camera lenses on the back of the phone. SOooo disappointed with this OtterBox product. I have used OtterBox cases for over 30 years. However, after this experience, I will most likely not buy one of their products again.

Easily stained
The case looks good out of the box and the chai/beige color is beautiful. HOWEVER, I have only used it for week and it already got a blue stained rim on the edges from putting in my jeans and jacket pocket. The stain cannot be removed and it’s very disappointing! Now I have a case that I cannot put in my pockets and it’s very inconvenient.
