Q: Are the lights supposed to show up in the inside of the house as well as the outside? If so, how do you turn them on?

A: YES you can turn on the lights inside the house as well. There is a tiny pale blue button located next to the light on the ceiling.

A: Hi Susan. Please make sure that the batteries are in the correct polarity and that the switch is firmly in the PLAY/ON position. The battery compartment is located at the top left corner of the folding bed, with the switch right next to it. The Battat Team

Q: Is the oven supposed to have oven racks? There are slots for them, but none came with my set. The dishwashing liquid is missing also, so I'm wondering if they were accidentally not included with the house.

Q: The bench/bed will not stay in place as a bench. The two spring loaded, supporters underneath push out making it difficult for the bench to stay clicked in place. Its supposed to stay in place with two TINY plastic buttons.

Q: I bought the Beach house for my daughter ... and we have never been able to get any sound from it ... we've tried numerous batteries ... I'm not sure what we're doing wrong ... we changed the ones under the bed and the ones under the sink ... TIA!

The Beach house is not a great quality. The plastic is cheap especially compared to the OG cabin. The cabin is nicer than the beach house. For the price I think it is poor quality. If you are going to buy something in this line, I recommend the cozy cabin. The quality is much nicer.

Cute house. My daughter loves it. Accessories aren’t overwhelming. Biggest issue which is giving 2 stars, is the sound stopped working after 30 minutes of intermittent use. The batteries were hot - I’ve never felt batteries get that hot. They were so hot you literally couldn’t touch them. Huge safety risk.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she finally got it 11 days after Christmas. It is a really cute beach house for her dolls. The only problem is the lights and sounds only work on the "Try me" mode. They will not work on the Play Mode at all. I even changed the batteries with new ones. You should have received an instruction sheet with the Our Generation Seaside Beach House Playset, which includes a step by step guide to replacing the batteries. If you go to the Our Generation website and look up the Seaside Beach House, you can download the instruction sheet from there. The compartment is in the bed, when the bed is folded out. Please be sure that you have the on/off switch at the "ON" position when playing with this accessory. We wish your granddaughter hours of imaginative fun! Sincerely, Team Battat

It’s expensive imo but we got it when there was a 25% off promo. My daughter plays with these OG sets for her stuffed animals rather than the 18in dolls. She prefers cats to humans. Can’t blame her. She loves that the door opens and closes, the screen on the door is actual mesh and that the window on the door slides up and down. She uses the hooks to hang up little doll purses and loves the bench that folds out to be a bed. She loves all the accessories and the noise effects were a pleasant surprise, that her and her friend love to press and listen to.

I purchased this beach house a couple of years ago and just loved it. I had to replace it recently and I was disappointed to find that some of the items that were in the first beach house were missing yet it was the same price as before. The missing items are the two blue cups and the tea kettle. I know it doesn't sound like much but the tea kettle was so cute it just help to make the kitchen. I would also like to know why the lights only stay on for a few seconds, why go to all the trouble of putting lights in if they are not going to stay on or adding the beach sounds if they only play for a few seconds.

I got this a while back for christmas and it's super fun to play with! Some pieces can get lost easily but not a big deal. It can fit the og dolls and the american girl dolls and it could fit barbie dolls too. It can make sounds and noises too. It is pretty heavy so be careful when you carry it. You don't want to drop it on you toe.
