Our Generation Malik 18" Boy Doll

My kid LOVES American girl dolls so much. She has so many she plays with them every day. Her favorite one is name is Susie and all the toys that come with it and all the clothes of a little I’m all jacked, especially the suitcases. She loves them so shout out to American girl doll.

Hair was exactly like the picture. So very please with this doll that I brought several Malik, all had the exact hair as pictured. Other our generation dolls were disappointing when the doll did NOT match the on line picture. Sale pricing was ideal too.

I’ve purchased American Girl dolls for my own kids & close relatives for years. They’re so sweet & have become like members of the family! I wanted to share that experience with other children through a holiday toy drive, but the American Girls are so expensive now - I just couldn’t do it! So I was really happy to find these Our Generation dolls, which are a less costly alternative & really cute! They have a soft stuffed body & matte finish plastic arms, legs & head, nice shiny hair & open-close sleep eyes. Their facial expressions are a little blank - not quite as warm or charming as American Girls. But with time & lots of love & play I think they’ll warm up! I bought both Malik & Helena - her freckles are so adorable! And I definitely recommend them both!

Actually, it is a christmas gift for my granddaughter.

What I like is the skin tone, Even though is the exact same dog as the first one at least he's darker. I wish our generation would make the dolls with nice long sleeve shirts. And different facemodes for the boys

he's sturdy and easy to dress. Even though his torso is stuffed, he's still huggable but firm. love his curly hair.Now I want them all. so cute. love the inspiring story on the box.

I love the doll but I have mixed feelings about the fabric used on the sides of his hair.

I love his hair, so soft and curly. Love the way his eyes open and close. Overall, very cute doll that any child would love to play with. I would recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were excited when Malik came in the mail. His hair is super soft and we love that he represents how a lot of our friends look. However, the torso of the doll is plush and squishy, while the arms and leg are firm. This gives the doll a strange body shape and feels odd to hold him.

He likes playing with dolls and this one is even better because it is a boy doll and he plays with him all the time. He has an older sister but they are eight years apart so he really doesn’t have anyone to play with. The doll let’s him have a friend.

The hoodie is removal. My daughter and son alike enjoyed playing with him and incorporating him with the slew of other dolls. *I read the box and was moved by the story of the company and the young lady who is the mind behind the doll.

Most 18" doll cloths should fit this one great. I really appreciate the creation of male dolls that look like our friends, family and neighbors. Most dolls or Barbie’s have unrealistic body types and as a mother I’m understanding how much that can impact a child. This doll is great quality, and the hair is soooo soft too and the curls bounce right back in place too!

Very handsome boy doll, well made and great skin color. Love his soft hair but hate the haircut style.
