A: Hi RCcar. Without seeing what is going on there is no way to answer your question. Depending on how long it was sitting on a store shelf, the batteries may need to be changed. Batteries can run down even when not in use. The Battat Team

Q: My 8 year old saved up her money to buy this, but only one of the rollers on the hot dog grill rotates and not very well. Are the supposed to all rotate?

A: Hi Isabel! We're sorry you're having trouble with the hot dog cart. This is not a common issue we have experienced, but we'd like to help! All of the grill rollers are supposed to move. The first thing to do would be to ensure that the power switch located on the base of the cart is set to the "On" position, rather than the in-store testing position called "Try Me." When the hotdog cart is in "Try Me" mode, the rollers will only function for a short time. If they still do not work when in the "On" position, you should replace the batteries (see the included instruction sheet). While the product is in store, it's possible that other customers have tried out its functions and caused the included batteries to wear out, leaving them without enough power to turn the rollers. If the rollers are still not turning with fresh batteries and in the "On" position, you should exchange the product at the store as it may be a defect.

this is the second one we purchased, both had a horrible smell like mold and the second one we ordered was damaged. Target does an excellent job with returns but they issued a gift card instead of refund to my credit card so that will take time to contact them and correct.

For some reason this was on clearance for half off at my Target! I snapped it right up for my granddaughter. It may of been on clearance as I think it was repackaged. There were a few coins and a lid missing. We love it! My granddaughter has been playing with it for hours these past couple of days. The quality is really good too.

This is the only reason I gave this product a four stars.The plastic is good quality. I never write a review but I thought I would.I got this at our local store.When I was watching my daughter take it out of the plastic she realized something.When she tried to turn on the hot dog roller thing it didn’t work.After my husband tried to fix it the roller barely moved.Now when I’m watching her play I see her give the thing a smack to get it moving.We are hopeful she will enjoy it as it is.I would recommend This toy just make sure if in store to check the hot dog roller first.

One of the wheels was broken! This came in a cardboard box so I wrapped it without opening it. When my daughter opened it we noticed immediately one of the wheels was cracked in half! Very disappointing! But, my daughter immediately wanted to play with it and loves it so much. Since it’s a gift and not currently in stock at our local store... I’m just gonna keep it. Also, while it was in a cardboard box, it wasn’t exactly packaged as expected once we opened it. I got it on sale but I paid for the product as advertised- new and without issues. A bit disappointed.

This is the only thing my daughter wanted from Santa. Went to several different targets to finally get it. Opened it up for her after she got it from Santa and the hot dog rollers don’t work. She’s sad she isn’t able to play with it until we can take it back, and get a new one.

This is a great gift for kiddos, its packed with all items you would find on a hotdog cart,hotdogs,buns even pretzels in their own little paper bags, I love the pop bottles,the turning grill for the hotdogs, got this as a gift for my granddaughter but even grandma would love playing . the money drawer is a cool addition have fun imagining walk in the park getting a hotdog fresh from the cart :]
