@mscraftyteacher Wondering what to do for Earth Day? STOP THE SCROLL!🌎⬇️ If you’re in need of a low prep Earth Day activity with your class, then I got you! Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite Earth Day activities, “My Earth Day Promise.” This activity requires only colored construction paper, scissors, glue, a printed picture of an Earth, and a pencil! Have your students trace and cut out their hands, paste a colored picture of the earth on their palms, and write each way they promise to care for the earth on each of their fingers. That’s it! “Our Planet! There’s No Place Like Earth” is the perfect book companion for this activity. It’s full of current information about climate change, kid friendly facts, rich vocabulary, & positive changes we can do right now to dramatically impact the well being of our planet. TEACHER TIPS: 🪴These work great as a door display or bulletin board display! 🪴 Reuse colored construction paper that the students used to cut out.
