Not really impressed. It advertised as insulated but it isn't. Also the material is not very sturdy. 1st time setting it up the strap to anchor it ripped. Was expecting a better quality.

First of all there's not insulated as advertised. A little tricky to put up but much easier to take down. Like the nice thick material. When it is set up everything is very taught. Zippers are very tight hopefully it loosens up when the material stretches.

First, I never ordered this thinking it was a top notch shelter. The intent was focused on weekend, once-in-a-while, fishing with the kid; It fits those thoughts. There is no insulation and there is some light infiltration though the zippers, seams and material. Relative easy up with some practice. A pair of plastic windows with flaps. The carrier bag was made with some extra room so putting it away is easy. Plenty room for two adults, some small seats and gear. Aosom did a good job shipping. This is a decent entry level shelter for small inland lakes and occasional fishing. I would expect 3-4 seasons without problems. Time will tell.

This is an awesome little pop up shelter. We put it on our deck for a "smoke shack". We have decked out with lights, heater and even put some art up. Highly recommend this item.

I recently upgraded to this model from a woods 3 man. Right off the top the quality and construction of this tent stand out. Good quality durable materials, strong hubs and zippers. I love the dual opposing doors, the cargo nets inside make storage convenient. The insulation really helps cut down the costs of operating my buddy heater and I expect the propane saving will more than offset the extra cost for the insulated version. I've had mine out in -28 C with no problems and was so warm we were only in our t shirts. If you need a ice tent then buy this one, you won't be dissapointed

Wanted to wait until I had a few seasons with this . First time I used it last year a hub broke. Was still able to use it for the rest of the season . Called customer support and they sent me a new hub free of charge . Replaced it and realized I lost one of the fiberglass rods . No problem , just called customer support and ordered a new one as well as spares and a spare hub . GREAT customer service . As far as function , it has been outstanding. Have used it in sub zero weather with a Big Buddy heater on low and was plenty warm . For condensation , the simple cure is open vents and keeping one door half unzipped . After doing that I have never had an issue with condensation . One thing that I found worked for me with this shack is that I use the ice anchors on the 4 points where you pull out the sides . Instead of rope to tie it down , I use bungee cords . In the high winds the bungees have a little give and allow a little flex that a solid line will not give you . Also a quicker setup. As is I can put this up in 5 min by myself ( I use a drill for the anchors) . and maybe 10 minutes tops tearing down and packing up . In all I would get another if this one ever gives up the ghost . Will stick with uninsulated since I have no plans of sleeping in it and it is plenty warm while out on the ice , even in -15 temps . Was the best xmas present I got last year , arriving within a few days of purchase . If you like ice fishing with 2-3 other people , this shack will suit you fine . I would recommend it to anyone going out in a 2-4 person group.

The item arrived quickly and appears everything (including instructions and ice anchors, etc) is included. It is fairly light - I will know more about durability after a few uses. I have not yet set it up but instructions are clear and pretty straightforward. Now we just need the ice to thicken up a little more and it will get the true test. The only con currently is it is advertised as "insulated" but it is standard fabric for a fish house - not the new thick insulated fabric you find on new name-brand houses these days.

Easy to install and disassemble, works great, holds in heat well. Only problem is that the peep areas can only be opened from outside, and there arent pockets inside the shanty to hold the casing of the shanty.

I bought for someone for Christmas. Not sure how it is yet. Still in box.

Super easy to put up. The zipper does seem to be strained with zipping up and down. I expect it to break at some point. Other than that it's a good tent. Keeps light out and heat in.

Bought this ice shanty for my husband. He lives it .he loves the space it has the way it's built it was easy to put up .which is a good thing because it's cold out on the ice less time spent setting up more time to fish.
