Q: Hello, the material lists cotton but the name of the bag is linen tote. Which is it? Cotton comes from a cotton plant and linen comes from flax. They are not interchangeable terms. Please advise.

A: They keep saying “primarily cotton.” So it most likely contains polyester too.

RUST color not pink
I love big totes, linen and rust color. It is not pink - the tag says rust which it definitely is. The tag also says various fibers... it's not linen but feels and looks like linen. It's a bit stronger and thicker fabric than most linen clothing. Maybe it's like a linen placemat.

Color not accurate.
Inaccurate color description. I purchased “pink.” The tag on the bag, once delivered, reads “rust” and the color is definitely not the light pink shown in the photos. Keeping because I need this for a trip I’m flying out for in two days, but was really looking forward to owning a pink bag for the first time. Oh well lol The tag also doesn’t show a material content. It just reads “textile material.”

I wanted a new tote for work and decided on this brown and tan stripped one. It’s much bigger in person than expected. The handles are fairly long and comfy. The material is soft, pliable and on the thin side. It’s not canvas material, more like cotton. You may need to get an insert because it doesn’t hold its shape. The top is open and so is the inside pocket. It can hold quite a bit. Overall I’m pleased.

The title and specifications are completely misleading. The label inside shows the bag is mostly polyester.
