A: YES! As long as the lid is closed and the handle is locked down, it will not leak, even if dropped. I lay it on it's side on my passenger seat and it doesn't leak, even when I don't lock the handle down. We have used several sizes and I've been using the same two bottles for over 2 years with no issues!

The straw does not affect your ability to tip it back to take a swig, so you would be able to do so without a straw. Lid pops open WAY to easily. This is the second time I’ve put the water bottle on my car seat and the lid has opened and spilled everywhere. The lid is nice, but you definitely have to clean it often otherwise it gets gross fast.

I used to be a Stanley girlie. No other brands would do. But then I found Owala and I am hooked. The free sip is my favorite line. I love the straw/ sip combo. The bottles seem pretty sturdy. I do use a boot on them but even the rest of the bottle not covered with a boot holds up well. I definitely think the price for this brand is worth it. I also like the 30 and 40 oz bottles the most, but since they don’t fit in any cup holder, I do have a couple of the 24oz I believe it is. The colors are so cute. I mostly go for pinks, occasionally a purple or blue if I like it. Some of the color combos are a bit weird but if you have more than one you can mix and match bottles and lids. Some combos I’m not sure why they thought that was a good match but they all can’t be winners. I saw this kickflip color online and I love it. It’s a great shade of pink. I’m thinking about getting a different size in the same color.

I like everything about this water bottle except… it doesn’t matter what I put in it when I lock the top and then open it -the liquid spurts out all over!!! Please make a better functioning lid and offer it free to everyone who has purchased this expensive bottle.

If you read the negative reviews, you'll learn that the lid is poorly designed and has a tendency to break. "No problem", you might think. "I paid way too much for this bottle in the first place, there's a lifetime warranty and their website says 'Excellent customer service'. Sorry to tell you, but if it breaks, they'll tell you it's your fault and deny your warranty claim. Then they'll ghost you if you try to follow up. No surprise why they have an "F" rating from the BBB.

Love Owala. Colors are so fun. And quality is great. Love the free sip feature. Just FYI color in pick is much deeper and brighter than actual cup. It’s more it a light sage and lid is sort of olive cream and lavende. Still beautiful but not what I was expecting as I had ordered this color to go with a purple and teal mermaid scale silicone boot. Hopefully it will still match

This is a very nice water bottle! Many nice colors and options. I also like the straw and different options. The inly thing that I noticed was that ice was melting faster than my other water bottles. I'm not sure if anyone else has these problems. Overall I really like this water bottle and brand but have noticed that the ice may melt faster than other brands that I have used. The price is a lot better though!

I have bought 3 of these water bottles and I absolutely love them. I own the colors periwinkle twinkle, Coastal Cottage, and the color Sleek. These of the colors are my favorite but all of the options are beautiful colors and are made well. My favorite part of these water bottles is the 2 options for drinking out of. The only flaw I have found is after small dents the water bottle doesnt keep water as cold for as long as it did before.

This water bottle is truly one of the best purchases I have ever made. I used to only buy from Hydroflask because of the bottle's insulation feature. I was interested to see how this one would compare. It is really great for keeping my water cold for a super long time throughout the day! I also like that there is a regular opening as well as a straw. This water bottle also does not leak at all. Such a perfect water bottle and I would definitely buy it again.
