I was excited to finally splurge on a new cookie scoop. It broke on the third cookie. The lever that pops out the cookie broke, so I had to scoop the cookie and manually remove the dough so I had uniform cookies. It was very time-consuming and frustrating. Junk, do not buy.

Poor design. Have ordered 2 of these and both have broke due to design flaw of mechanism at bottom of handle. Latch at bottom of handle is not supposed to come loose from gear.
It won't clear the entire scoop only goes half way so you are stuck with dough in the scoop that you have to scrap out manually. Waste of money. Will be returning.

The size is ideal but like many reviewers the scraper inside the scoop stopped working after only a few uses. Sadly, I also ended up throwing it away. I normally thinking highly of their products but this one doesn’t measure up.

Don’t currently own anymore as ours broke after about 10 years of use! But I loved how easy it was to make a little ball for cereal or use for spooning batter into cupcake molds! The only things is the metal doesn’t completely scrape all the dough off the back as it leaves a thin layer.
