Lacquer can be food safe for some uses, but it's not recommended for cutting or chopping surfaces and wood that has been stained and finished can be food safe, as long as the finish has cured and dried. Q: What is the capacity of each scoop? I need measurement, not dimensions ie 1/4 cup, 2 TBSP, etc.

I spotted these in the Magnolia section at Target the other day and decided to get them to use as scoops in our rice and oats containers in the pantry since our 1 cup measuring cup tends to make a mess. They are perfect. We will definitely be getting more for our dried black beans as well as our toddler’s sensory table for her to play with. Great price and very well-made. Huge bonus is that the handles are very thick so it won’t snap if it gets accidentally dropped on our tile floor.

I love these little wooden scoops. They are so useful. They fit my storage jars just perfectly. They look so cute and are easy to grab inside the jars. They are easy to wash and I must add they should be dried immediately so the wood will not get damaged.
