Description
With Pinot Noir the fruit is always the primary focus. Marlborough’s warm days and cool nights make it an ideal climate for growing the famously temperamental grape. Matured in French oak barrels the result is fragrant, soft, and flavorful, with aromas of ripe cherries and sweet fruit tannins that provide structure and length. Elegant, cool climate Pinot Noir at its best.

Surprisingly Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While not the most complex Pinot Noir, it was surprisingly wonderful. I paired it with a goat cheese pasta and the jammy, deep notes really shined. This is not a dry wine but isn't sweet either. Nice & round. I'm not as familiar with this line of wines, but am interested in trying more of them now that I've had this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time having this and I’m already liking it. The first sip tasted so fruity and light that it’s so easy to drink. From the second sip I tasted some smoky taste underneath. It’s a very nice wine that I’ll definitely purchase again.
Great value wine with delicious flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this Pinot Noir by Oyster Bay. Pinot noir is the type of wine I typically always drink and I would label myself a bit of a wine snob. For the price, this is one of the better Pinots that I’ve had. Right when you open the bottle you can smell the rich blackberry aromas. On taste, it has a very bold berry flavor with a smooth finish. I had it as an after dinner drink but I could definitely see this paired nicely with a steak at dinner. I’m not saying this compares to some of my favorite valley red wines however for what you are paying, it’s very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oyster Bay Pinot Noir has a nice oaky flavor with hints of sweet fruit. It was nice drinking outside during a dinner party! I love the flavor and pairs well with the lamb we were making!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can’t go wrong with this pinot noir. It’s a light-bodied red, and it’s got the light-bodied flavor. For the price point, it’s definitely a go-to. It’s pretty fragrant, but I do not taste the black plum notes they claim to have. Overall, definitely a must-try!
Not too sweet, good balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed this. I think I could have found it cheaper at a larger chain liquor store. But still, it was very much enjoyed with our steak tip dinner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually not a huge Pinot noir as I like a more full bodied wine, however this bottle especially for the price point has a great flavor, the fruitiness was just right with the amount of oakiness. Very light bodied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was on par with most wines in this price point, barefoot, flipflop, etc. Good flavor, packaging looked nice, but all in all just your average super market wine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I happen to be a wine connoisseur, and by that I mean, I'm very picky I like full body for flavor wines. Does exceeded my expectations. It was a perfect balance of nutty and sweet, not to dry, and I would definitely purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am more of a white wine drinker but I enjoy some reds. This one is too dry for my taste but if you enjoy dry wines then this one is for you. Price is reasonable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having recently tried Oyster Bay, I found it to be a decent rendition : While it may not have blown me away, it certainly held its own in the realm of Pinot Noir. Upon opening the bottle, I was greeted with a pleasant aroma of red berries and a subtle earthy undertone. The first sip revealed a balanced profile of fruity notes with a touch of oak, showcasing the craftsmanship behind this offering. One of the notable aspects of this Pinot is its moderate tannin presence. This allows the delicate flavors to shine without overwhelming the palate. The finish is smooth and leaves a pleasing aftertaste, inviting you to take another sip. This Pinot Noir pairs nicely with a variety of dishes, making it a versatile choice for casual gatherings. What sets this wine apart is its affordability. It provides a respectable experience without commanding a premium price. This, combined with its satisfactory quality, makes it a dependable choice for everyday occasions. The packaging is clean and simple, reflecting the straightforward nature of the wine. It would make a practical gift for someone who appreciates a decent Pinot Noir without all the frills. In summary, Oyster Bay holds its own in the world of Pinot Noirs. It offers a reliable and enjoyable experience at an accessible price point. Give it a try, and you'll find it to be a worthy addition to your collection. Cheers! 🍷
It’s Cherry Season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often enjoy wines that have dark cherry as one of the prominent flavors and this was no different. This wine was smooth and was great for unwinding with friends in the evening. As it’s Cherry season (the true fruit) it seemed fitting to try this new cherry and plum wine as well. I also appreciated that this was a screw top so I didn’t need to use my wine opener and could quickly open it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty easy to please with wine, though I don’t normally gravitate toward red. The Pinot noir tastes a little oak-y but gets the job done! I can imagine drinking this wine on a night in winter to warm up. I’d like to try the Sauvignon bland in the future.
