Awful. Inedible. Would not purchase again.

Simply put it was disappointing and gross. I can't believe PF Chang's allows this garbage to carry their company name. I threw it away after three bites, it was impossible to continue eating. The flavor, texture, and quality all deserve negative stars. I wasn't expecting gourmet, however I was at least expecting a 3, something somewhat tasty and edible. If there are any 4 or 5 star reviews, check the small print to see if they were paid. Please save your $8 and your taste buds. I wish I could have returned it.

Absolutely terrible

This says it’s 2.5 servings of 400 cal each, IE sensible people would likely serve two ppl 500 cal each. But first ask: If you split a 10 piece McDonald’s chicken nuggets with another person, and also ate 10 containers of sweet and sour sauce per person, plus some veg (and likely rice), would you find that to be a sufficient meal? I find the sauce in this to be very flavorful though it’s on the spicier side for people who prefer zero spice, and yeah it’s way too sugary. I’m not as offended as others are that the pieces of chicken are those same nugget shapes that McDonalds invented and now all the nugget making machines in the world produce, but it does mean this is “particleboard chicken” that was blended into a batter and squirted out so it’s got its own texture. In this mix, the breading gets mushy and falls off and following the cooking directions makes the chicken into rubber bits (cooking more gently though means it’s squishy). There are indeed only 11 pieces of chicken which is insanely little protein. The veggies are pretty good, nice texture and assortment, but there’s not a lot. Most of the calories are sugar - there’s too much sauce and it’s too sweet. If you really want orange chicken I prefer Trader Joe’s because you can air fry the nuggets then sauce them. If you really want a cheap fast meal with all different flavors and some comfort, I’d pick up drive thru Chicken nuggets, sweet and sour sauce, French fries, and a small shake. That is more protein, more fiber, less sugar, more fat (which slows down the carbs) a little calcium, and more enjoyable.

Literally banquet chicken nuggets with some sauce

This is a COMPLETE waste of money. There were literally 11 chicken nuggets in this dish. NOT breaded chicken chunks... actual nuggets. They were NOT crispy. I had to make up a side of plain chicken I had in the freezer otherwise there would not have been enough food. Way too expensive for the product. could get WAY better orange chicken at a well known fast food place for cheaper

The sauce has too much ginger in it. My kiddos were not fans.

PF Chang's frozen orange chicken meal looks interesting to make. looks really good on the container. was quite pricey but I hope it tastes just as good.

I’ve never been to PF Chang’s, but if this is what they serve… jeez. The “chicken” was spongy. It had the texture of the appearance of re-thawed frozen tofu. It’s horrifying to consider how to achieve a texture like this with actual chicken. I actually quite liked the carrots and edamame in it. The sauce was very okay. Not tart enough and not salty enough, mostly sweet but somehow bland. I had it with rice and fresh steamed broccoli. Topping it all with kewpie mayo helped. I will never be getting this again.
