Q: When adding "texture" does this dry out you hair? I have fine curly hair and most texturizing products just make my hair feel rough and dry, like straw. The ones that don't make my hair crunchy, which I'd rather have crunchy than dry and dull.

I had been eyeing this for a few weeks so when I saw that it went on sale I decided to give it a try! Smells really good but didn’t really give me the beachy hair I was hoping for. Made my hair kind of stiff and tangled feeling. :( going to try it after my hair dries a little more from washing and see if that makes a difference.

I personally like this product for thicker texture at the root. I only use it on dry hair (before hairspray) and I spray once under a section of my hair, tease it a little with your fingertips, let dry (like a minute and tease again if needed) and style. It shouldn’t look like a rats nest if done right. Everyone has different hair so you might have to mess around with it at first to get the look you want. I also like to do this before styling a high pony or semi pony for extra thicker-looking hair. fyi: type 2a hair

THIS WAS TERRIBLE!!! never get this. It made my hair crunchy as the sun comes up and is made it so knotty. DO NOT recommend.

The only "texture" this provides is making hair sticky which causes lots of snarles and ratty looking hair. It's a no for me.

This spray did absolutely nothing. Judging by its price, I just assumed this product was going to have at least SOME capability of accentuating the natural waves that I have in my hair. But I’m not even exaggerating when I say it literally did nothing. It really didn’t even smell all that good either. Don’t waste your money.

I was partial to the older design but what matters is that you kept this in the line-up. It's my go-to, holy grail hair spray. I used it instead of sticky hair spray. Gives a light hold without crunchy feeling. Smells fresh and fantastic. Reminds me of bananas and the ocean. Works great to give my hair natural waves or to refresh my hair on no-wash days. This is such a fantastic spray! I have tried many other salt sprays and nothing compares to this one.
If you want smell like a Laffy Taffy, get this!

I developed the same rash I got while using their Sea Foam Complete Face Wash product except this time it’s all over my neck, shoulders, back and chest. Anywhere my hair touches. Really disappointing and itchy!!

First I am only speaking from the perspective of a woman that has fine hair with highlights. I tried this product twice and both times it left my hair feeling like straw. Definately no salty waves. When I tried the product a second time I feel that the combination of the product and the summer sun left my hair with breakage. So needless to say I will not buy this again. It does smell really good but that is all. Although the packaging shows for all hair types I wouldn't recommend for fine hair.
