For a space-saving solution you're sure to appreciate, choose this Gray Packable Backpack from Made By Design™. This medium-size backpack is perfect for a variety of on-the-go activities, and it comes with a convenient packing bag that features a full-zip closure. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a comfortable fit, and the top loop handle provides an additional carrying option, making this compact gray backpack the perfect choice for travel.
Solid, no-frills value option: this bag was purchased to use for gym clothes and other miscellaneous items to lug around. It does just that, and the fact that it folds into itself is also rad. It doesn't look "heavy-duty," but I may never know given that I'm only putting clothes in it. I wouldn't recommend this bag as a daily backpack to hold valuable items (a laptop, for example), but this bag would definitely suffice as a good sling option for a day trip or by the pool.
I took this backpack to Yellowstone and used it to carry essentials while out hiking. We really loaded it up (water bottles, snacks, sunscreen and more), and it is so lightweight even filled to capacity it was very manageable. It held up great as well. When we were done with it, the backpack folded up and fit back into the little square zipper pocket easily. I was able to just throw it in my purse. For less than $20 I would say it is well worth buying!
This is a folded-up backpack. Not meant for you to carry 100-pound of stuff; what this is for is a quick, light hiking trip or an extra backpack that you can bring with you without taking up space on a short trip. It looks flimsy and I was worried that the stitching would break down, but I used it for a short city hike and put in about six cans of sparkling water and an 10-oz insulated water bottle and the normal stuff (wallet, phone, etc.). The backpack handled everything ok.
The brilliant part of this backpack is that the small bag (that's used to hold the backpack when it's folded up) can be reversed as a small, secured zipped-up bag inside the backpack! I was able to put my wallet in there and a few small misc. items. Considering the price and usability, I would definitely recommend it!
Surprisingly easy to fold back into its container. Quite a bit of room. The material is understandably this, so I'm not totally confident it will hold up to constant use, but time will tell. So far so good.
