Paint and Bead Wind Chime Craft Kit - Mondo Llama™

It was fun painting but stringing the beads was not easy. The string frayed and I finally figured out how to use the “threading tool”. I don’t think anyone tries the product before they put it in the store.

Bought 3 of these kits and all 3 were missing the bead threader tool. So the kids could not complete the craft without it. Is there no quality control on these???

Very cute activity that my kiddo loved to help with. The instructions are simple and straight forward. My 4 year old was able to do the painting and I had to help with the stringing of the beads of course. Cute activity snd came Out great. My only con is that I wish the chimes were heavier because they don’t really move that much and make noise unless there is a lot of wind.

This craft was “ok” I got it for my daughter to do but it quickly lost her attention.

It’s a great kit. My7 yr old daughter loved it.we had fun time building it.

The colors are great, fun project, but one of my chimes was missing a hole. Of course we didn’t realize until after we got to that part in the assembly… Target is replacing (great customer service!) but I would suggest checking for this problem before starting the activity with a kiddo… mine was bummed we couldn’t finish it.

My crafty 8yo loved this however it needed glue and extra string to help put it together to be held and hung. Thankful my handy husband helped otherwise the craft would have been a flop. The paint colors, beads, and design is playful and fun.

My four year old daughter is obsessed with wind chimes so this was a perfect craft for her! We love the mondo llama line

This was a lot of fun to put together with the kids. They loved painting the beads and making sounds

I bought this as a craft to do with my 6 year old granddaughter. Since it says "6 and up" I assumed it would be something simple enough to do so that she would enjoy. The only thing she was able to do was paint the pieces. After that I fought with the beads and trying to use their bead tool, or whatever you call it, to put these contoured beads, or whatever they call them, on this string that kept fraying. After about 30 minutes I had my husband come help, he gave up too. Not wanting to accept that I couldn't complete a craft that is meant for a 6 year old, I pushed on. At this point(on hour 2), my granddaughter had wandered off to play her tablet and my husband was snoozing in the couch. I finally accepted my defeat, gathered the whole thing up, and the it in the trash. Bye, bye $5.
