Q: Why is the product so hard? I have to keep rubbing it in. Why is that? Is there another way to have it softened?

A:Â Anything that is cocoa butter hardens quick, put it near the sun, somewhere whet it can be temperatures as warm or like the hot sunlight. Sit it in the middle aisle of your stove a couple of minutes b4 use.

It has much changed. I am not an expert but there are so many additives in like. First ingredient on your Skin Therapy formula is CANOLA OIL!? That’s very dangerous from cancer to toxic herbicides. Cocoa should be much higher on the list of ingredients. I purchased this bottle a year ago and it’s still sitting in my bathroom almost full. I won’t be using it. I hope others research your product ingredients. The newer generation doesn’t know the difference as your product was once pure and genuine but the older generation does notice. Sorry Palmers. After all these years you have let me down.

Thank you for your feedback! The Cocoa Butter Formula Original Solid Jar does not contain Canola Oil. However, Canola oil is a natural, vegan, oil produced from canola seeds. It contains essential fatty acids making it a great skin care ingredient. High in nutrients, it’s known for its excellent skin care benefits: such as improved elasticity, the prevention of dark spots, blemishes and wrinkles. Many great skin care ingredients are also used in cooking for example: olive oil, sunflower oil, and coconut oil, due to their high, healthy fat, content. Those same essential fatty acid makes these gourmand ingredients work really well for moisturizing skin and hair.

I’ve been using Palmer’s for years and I love the Concentrated Cream, however, I’m extremely disappointed that it doesn’t come in a bigger size! I’m constantly having to order it because I use it all the time and I can’t find it in any store.

My wife and I have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter for years. We have a little bit of the old jar left and I purchased a new jar recently. We compared them and there is something different. There is a noticeable chemical smell in the new jar. and the consistency is not the same. Though the ingredients may be listed the same however we noticed the difference. Those have used this for years will notice the difference.

I’ve bought and cleaned out about three of these! Got it first for tattoo aftercare but kept using it cause it feels so nice. Anytime someone touches my arms they’re taken aback by how soft my skin feels.

I've known about the brand my entire life but never tried it til a couple weeks ago. I was desperate to heal my dry feet which were peeling like crazy. It's been two weeks of putting on this lotion then putting on socks to wear to bed... my feet are not only no longer peeling, but feel as soft as they did when I was a teenager. This stuff is great! One negative... the scent... it's way too strong! It gives me a minor headache if I keep it on my hands. Can it be dialed back just a tad? People shouldn't smell your lotion from several feet away!

I bought this just a little bit ago and used it right after showering when my skin is still a little wet and it has my skin feeling so nice. I love that it moisturizes the skin & gives it a beautiful glow without it feeling oily on my skin. I have used Palmer’s products before but never this so I was so excited when I see it at the store and decided to give it a try! I can’t wait to use this with summer approaching after tanning! Truly my favorite thing I’ve added to my skincare routine!

I have an old bottle that ran out and recently purchased the new bottle with newer look. However, when I used it I was incredibly disappointed. The smell was gone and the consistency felt more watery and less moisturizing. I compared the two formulas and noticed that the new formula has isopropyl alcohol listed as an ingredient which is extremely drying....I'm hoping they go back to their old formula because if not I will have to pass on this unfortunately.

While our formulas have not changed, from time to time you may see an update to an ingredient list that may have been the result of adherences with an ever-evolving regulatory landscape or disclosures (ie fragrance allergens) of certain chemical compounds. For example, Sunflower Oil is a component of our natural vitamin e (Tocopherol). Compliance and transparency is very important to us which is why we strive to make sure our labels are reflecting all the information required to our customers.
