Does NOT smell like Gingerbread
While the soap works well, it DOES NOT smell like Gingerbread at all. It smells like cologne. Very disappointed with the scent, but it does clean the dishes. The soap is pretty thin too, so be careful when putting it on your brush or sponge.

Not gingerbread scented
The soap may be effective at cleaning but this smells nothing like gingerbread. This isn't my normal brand so I don't know what the regular scent smells like but I'd describe this as a chemical lemon pine scent.

The soap is thick and requires a lot of water to lather well, but it cleans my dishes and pots and pans. I feel like the bottle of soap has lasted longer than the soap I normally use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think this smelled like gingerbread. It smelled mostly like the original product with some sweetness to it. If I stretch my imagination I'd say more like sugar cookies. Bummer. but.... more importantly, it didn't effect the quality of the product. Regardless of the scent, it was still the Palmolive we know and love. It lathered nicely as always and got the job done! I will say the holiday label is cute. I also appreciated the extra measure to prevent the bottle leaking during shipping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed washing my dishes with the Palmolive Ultra Gingerbread dish washing soap. The presentation of the bottle is adorable. When it comes to the scent of the soap, I can say it isn't a fake gingerbread scent but more of an actual ginger scent with a cheitmasy touch. The soap lathers effortlessly and leaves my dishes squeaky clean. Definitely need to try other scents.

It was ok.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience testing out this product was just ok. I didn't like how liquidy the soap was and it seems like it was too watered down. I also wasn't that fan of a the smell . I think it smelled more of pine trees than gingerbread. I didn't have any problems using the soap to wash dishes.
