If you telephone line provider can set up the service for you, the telephone should work without issues with your voicemail. Please note that the phone does not have a built-in answering system. Q: If my electricity goes out does the phone go out too Or does it have battery back up?
A: Hello, Ban! Thank you for your question. With the 3 AA batteries, the KX-TSC11W should maintain its basic functions, like caller ID display, even during a power outage, as long as the phone line is active. -C

Q: Does this phone have answering function?
