About the Author

Mac Barnett is the coauthor of the Terrible Two series and the author of many acclaimed picture books, including titles recognized with multiple Caldecott Honors. Known for playful, inventive storytelling that delights readers and read-aloud audiences alike, his books are published around the world and frequently appear on "best of the year" lists.

Claire Keane is an author-illustrator whose visual storytelling was shaped by a decade at Walt Disney Feature Animation. She contributed design and concept art to Tangled, Frozen, Enchanted, and other films before turning to children's books, where she now writes and illustrates from her studio in Venice Beach, California.
